I feel like the low bone break/low damage bite is bad on rex, and bone snap is hard to land on official, I am a new rex player so idk much but as of now I’m using face tank n regular bite. The bleed increase given to allo has really made it good, won’t take long for people to notice
Depends. How you going to handle ducks? How you going to handle spoons? Instant bonebreak gives you a chance in those fights. Facetank is still quite good though. Depends on your playstyle and on which preys you usually fight!
Yeah I heard allos bleed is better but Im not sure how much, Ill have to use claws more during fights and see how opponents act to it. Bonebreak is hard for sure but imo crushing bite is better unless youre VERY ambush-addicted and are only going for ambushing, other than that though bone snap isn’t really worth it. Facetank is definitely good, but I like actually getting kills and with facetank rex feels like a defensive creature which feels wrong to me, but crushing bite even against apexes can be really useful for securing the kill so I use it. But yes facetank is definitely good from what I’ve heard but I still haven’t used it much yet lol
@@frank2510oh yeah against those you usually have already won once you get bonebreak on them, spino and duck both rely on agility vs a rex so if you bone break them unless theyre really good or you’re bad you should win lol
I would say do it, just make sure you get used to how it plays and fights and once you do that you should hold your own against things not in a huge mixpack, but rex can be difficult to master for sure.
I’ve been thinking about that, I might start commenting after fights in future videos pointing out the good and bad in the fights, etc. but I’ve been considering it for sure so don’t worry 🗿
I got a question man, do you play Rex solo? If so, what's it like, I love Rex and I enjoy solo but I've been reluctant to try it on official due to mix packs and mega clans etc
Yeah I almost always play solo, though I haven’t played for too long on officials, I would say if you wanna play solo rex its definitely challenging with the mixpacks, if you ever run into them, just give them a good fight to remember and maybe take out a couple of their members, its a lot less frustrating that way, so you can consider it a win if you can do that. 👍🏼
Hey dude I see you still play can do this on lfaw I’m sick of those damn mixpackers like I can’t play bc of there impossible to fight and run away from packs and i wish there was some rule for it tbh that’s why I quit pot for awhile
Yeah I haven’t played LFAW sadly because of that, if you like minimal/simple rules tho I started playing Pesky’s server Satsteir Island today and its pretty fun, good growth times but nothing insane etc., if you don’t like realistism but don’t like huge mixpacks its a good server for that, there are maybe 10 rules max lol
I’m not convinced crushing bite is better than bone snap. You can quickly charge and exicute bone snap as fast as you can with crushing bite once you land it you also have a cooldown that lasts half the time and the target stays bone broke for longer.
@@lizardon7096 neither of them are bad imo, most people just prefer the facetank playstyle. I will probably always use crushing bite as my go-to second head slot because its underrated and fun to use but facetank is probably really good now for sure lol
Mixpacking is when herbs and carnivores group together, not when carnis group with other carnis. Grouping with other carnis is completely allowed, plus the game encourages you to do it
People still refer to it as mixpacking, and large groups of different species even of the same diet can be really annoying I agree, however in this video it was two of us versus like 5 people plus one who wouldn’t take the L so I think its ok what me and the allo were doing, defending ourselves against 5 different creatures lol.
@@dtbrex08 what you did with the Allo was completely fine! Can't say the same about the other guys, since they were clearly mixpacking with the pachy, and then they coming back over and over again showed a lot lol
Oh yeah for sure they were annoying, but especially when people are just randomly teaming up for logical reasons against logically insane players like a 1v5 I’m completely fine with it lol, if Riot wasn’t there I probably would’ve died for sure especially considering the pachy coming back.
