Short video on how to get to the Mito regulator. IMPORTANT NOTICE :- Remember to dry fire the Mito several times before doing any regulator adjustments, to avoid damage to the regulator. Chronograph required.
Nice informative video, I have one of these combo kit's in. 177. Lighten my trigger by changing the springs for biro pen springs. Works a treat. Really accurate up to 35 yards. Mine is set up to 5.6 ftlbs & fitted with a Bob patton folding stock. I shoot 177 spitfire domes in it & get great result's. Very cheap shooting with these, makes it better. Keep up the reviews.
Blue-tac on the little fiddly disc , with a small screwdriver pressed in , just sticky enough to start it off on the thread ( make sure its devoid of oily type lube , else it wont stick ) .. sorted Good informative vid .. thumbs up
so if i want to adjust the power down i just have to turn the big screw on the back? i want to make it more backyard friendly since i only have a very small garden/can only shoot indoors and i only do plicking anyways.
@@Jijhebtmijnnaamnietnodig Yes. That’s the hammer spring adjustment. It may have a locking pin, but I managed to turn mine enough with out taking my pin out.
does anybody know - my mito S is making too much power, and I want to adjust the regulator DOWN - is this by turning the regulator adjuster anticlockwise or clockwise?
@@reevessairgunningreviews5572 Mine came with a foster fill valve, but my club has some sort of large thread Female valve. I guess its a 300 DIN from googling pictures
@@col.sirbuffyhorsetrouser6354 This regulator has a small window of adjustment so it really just balances the pellet with the air supply, per shot. It’s best to use a Chronograph to make small adjustments to the hammer spring if you want to decrease the power.
Hey can you help? What if I just turned the reg to its max or end of thread I have the piston in canibre setup and really want to do some longest range possible shots
@@hvmvp3657 changed mine to a stronger hammer spring and played with all possible positions of the available regulator adjustment and at best managed about 7 fpe. Mine is the UK sub 6fpe version so I assume the belleville washer configuration won't let you push it any higher 👍🏻
@@cjnev9618 there has to be a way to get it to 12ftlbs this is what they are manufacturing them at in Turkey it would make a great long distance Lester I have the Hawke 9-50 SO on it so aim is bang on just need the range
@@hvmvp3657ince my last comment i have taken the regulator apart and played with the belleville stack, I tried a few configurations to increase the power but with no real improvement. Maybe in the non UK versions the transfer port is bigger 🤔 also when watching the official reximex mito it shows a flat headed screw to adjust the power so internals maybe different for the sub 12. Plus it doesn't have that pain the arse little silver locking disc blocking the reg adjuster
