Rexroth 417-18-31411-1 BODAS controller for Komatsu WA200 Wheel Loader Repaired by ERD 

Hey everyone this is Glenn with ERD, you know the guy in the video.
Today we are talking about construction equipment repair, an area we have been working in for almost 20 years.
The particular unit is a BODAS transmission controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for Komatsu and is an extremely complex computer controlled four-wheel drive piece of equipment.
This unit came in with a gear shift issue. The obvious errors were easy to fix but this unit continued to have problems out in the field. We decided we needed to create our own test system to properly diagnose and test this unit before returning it for duty.
We used our newly designed in-house simulator on our very popular track transmission controller and were able to identify the problem and completely test it.
