Anyone that says this movie romanticized toxic relationships clearly wasn’t really watching the movie Rey didn’t love Kylo she loved Ben and Ben was so fractured as a person because of how he was manipulated that Ben and Kylo were essentially two different people. Rey killed Kylo and saved Ben when she stabbed him and then healed him she always loved Ben that’s why she didn’t take his hand in 8 but did in 9 I’m tired of opinionated critics writing bad reviews because of how they feel. Their job is to review what the movie is saying. Three movies, and he only smiled ONCE.

So piiiiissed that he died. I mean I get why. Leia gave her life to Ben and Ben gave his for Rey and is able to be one with the Force like the rest of his family. Doesn't mean I like that he's gone. Adam Driver is so goooood as Ben/Kylo. Love love love.

that kiss broke me. i knew he gave his life for her, but when they shared that moment together it made it seem like they could both remain alive. and then!! he just goes up and dies?!!

They deserved to have all the time of the world to explore what they have and to shine bright together for eternity. I'll never accept this mochery of an ending. Beautiful video. Thank you.

Also, I am basically refusing to believe this is the last of Ben Solo (kind of the way I felt about Loki dying in MCU... and look what happened there). If they make more movies about these characters (please please), they could bring him back. We didn't see him as a force ghost at the end--what if he lives somehow in Rey's consciousness? He disappeared, but maybe he isn't truly gone. Maybe he could come back. I really, really, really hope Disney does this--I'd dump a truckload of money in their front yard if they would just bring Ben back. #BringBenBack

Message to J.J. Abrams 1) Don't you think at least one of Skywalker family deserved happy ending? Anakin died for saving his son and destroy Palpatine which he failed. He only slow him down. Luke also died. Leia died. So Ben is last Skywalker and he also had to died? I know this should be the movie closing Skywalker line, but Star Wars (movies) is Skywalker. And with Ben you also killed any chance for any continuing. he died for his love and he didn't even get the chance to be with her? 2) My main obsession is Reylo so is there any kind of Alternative happy ending for them? And if it is will be on DVD/BD when it will be released in April? 3) On the end when Rey become Skywalker after she sees Luke and Leia as a force ghosts where was Ben? It connects us in most amazing way and helps us leave this some times bad reality and live in something different, something better. In a dream world where we all can be anyone we want to be. I can't imagine how stressfull and pressing is to create movie like that it's agreat deal of responsibility, but there is always a path for preservation hope and a future. In some article I read you're not good with endings, but that doesn't mean you have to do it all alone. This just have me chills. Their story is so unique and beautiful and I need more. Such a beautiful but tragic ending, and I truly hope it’s not the actual end. Ben Solo/Kylo Ren was such a great character and I can’t accept him finding love within himself, for his parents and for Rey just to die at the end. Sure, he sacrificed himself but he deserved to live and be happy for once.

You gave me a good Christmas gift! It makes me so sad they decided to straight up murder Ben. To be honest it seemed an easy way out to end the movies. I get it, but it's silly.

2:29. I love that. His foot hits the ground when the beat hits. It's perfect. And when he brought up the hand thing, argh. Knowing that he's obviously thought about it a heap(who hasn't am I right). Knowing that he was thinking about it then. Wondering why she didn't take it, hoping that when he'd offer it again she'd take it. And when she said "we'll see" oh it was so awesome😆. I love all the throwbacks to the last 2 movies. Them looking back on those times. It's just great and I will never, NEVER get over his death, NEVER. And 0:48. Seeing him collapse is heartbreaking.

I have a strong feeling that Ben could still talk to Rey through that Force Bond window thing, except he will show up at Rey's location, much like how he showed up at that hut where Rey was at in The Last Jedi(when Luke saw them). So in a way, this could mean he is still alive and the Reylo lives on...

Kylo Ren is Dead But Ben Solo Is well and truly ALIVE in our Hearts and I’m still devo that JJ had to kill him but damn I am soo mad that they didn’t get to have a life together but at least they always had a connection which brought them together And at least they kissed😭😭🥺😔

The more I watch it, plus the TROS, the more I think it is one of the best stories ever. Love isnt a sappy happy story, but something powerful as life itself, and transformative. I don't remember a pair like this.

Imagine the character arc we could have seen with Ben after he turned to the light. The arc would have been soooo good! Imagine Rey and Ben walking into the resistance base hand in hand and people being shocked/not trusting Ben. But imagine over time, him earning their trust...ugh the character arc would've been incredible 😩

I see most comments are from women, so from a male perspective I applaud your Reylo videos. They are touching and beautifully done. They truly capture the essence of the complex relationship that "Ben" and Rey built over the span of the three films. It shows that Ben still had some semblance of input or control, despite Kylo Ren trying to be the dominant persona due to the dark side contamination. Although the "Happy Ending" would have satisfied many a viewer, the ending as it happened is much more powerful as it elicits strong feelings associated with the sacrifice of a redeemed tragic character. It invalidates many of the criticisms related to the lack of character development, as it is clear that viewers were quite invested in the character of Ben Solo and his inner struggles with Kylo Ren and his interactions with and feelings for Rey, his Father and his Mother. If just for the Reylo dynamic, I give this film a grade of "A".

These videos are literally heaven! They're so gorgeous and their story is so beautiful! I could honestly survive off of them. This ship, the fans who are so creative with their tributes to the ship. It's all extraordinary.

Kylo and Ben are different people Ben was always inside. But like Luke skywalker said fear kept him on the island and as yoda said before him fear leads to hate hate leads anger anger leads to suffering and poor Ben solo did suffer. As Luke had to learn failure is the biggest teacher. Ben solo and Rey where in love kylo saw Rey and him standing together but kylo was turned by the feelings that he had for Rey his mother and father. When Ben gave his life to save Rey the only way this is accomplished is when your heart and there heart is connected through the force and that person truely loves them then they can achieve this. Reylo where cute sad to see them end in this epic saga

There is nothing obnoxious about reylo. It's completely in the plot. And one of the most beautiful thing I have witnessed in the Skywalker saga .

I think he deserved a second chance in life. That scene was really sad to me, he could have been happy with her.

I love this I’m glad they ended up together in the end. It was sad what happened to Anakin and Padme but Rey and Kylo redeemed them. Even though Ben died it was still a great story between them. But obviously I wish he lived.

Definitely my favourite edit of these two!!! Amazing job!!! Wasn’t a fan of the choices in this film but it also wasn’t as bad as a lot of people keep saying. But I’m still heartbroken that Ben died😭😭❤️

Lovely video. I went to watch this movie a second time tonight a week after it premiered. And would you know it, there were just as many people as the first time a week ago, and they clapped at all the parts showing Kylo had changed back to the Light side of the Force or just to Ben. Seeing the full arc of his change and the real relationship and bond that the two of them (Rey and Kylo/Ben) had was a real delight. I cannot tell you how this movie actually satisfied me in so many ways on how I would've wanted it to end. The only sad part was seeing Ben die and Leia also. But I understood the deaths of both. Leia sacrificed herself to reach her son one last time knowing that Rey was confronting him. And Ben sacrificed himself to save Rey. The ultimate sacrifice of sharing the essence of the Force to heal someone; and an ultimate demonstration of his change. I can't be more happy. I cannot wait till I can own this movie.

The moment when Han said that his son was alive was incredible. When Leia reached her son and stripped all that darkness away was incredible. The moment he gave up his life for Rey and lived just long enough for her to see the person that was inside made all of this worth it. Maybe they’ll be more written about him, it’s a shame that we only met him for such a short time.

Probably the best Reylo edit i’ve ever seen😍i love their relationship, even though it was very complicated ✨i personally (!) think, they loved each other since The Last Jedi. They are both lonely and missunderstood, trying to fight, who they really are. I also think, that they just could have gone together when Ben is redeemed. Cause Rey loves BEN not Kylo. She always knew that there is hope for Ben cause you cannot fall in love with a dead person. And in the end, Ben ended what Anakin started: saving the love of his life. I absolutely DIDNT want Ben to die, but in one way it makes sense: Ben had nothing left, the first order wasnt controlled by him anymore, nobody would know his name after the last order from palpatine: so he gave Rey everything, he had left, which was himself. They both saved each others life so often, Bens death was the proof that they love each other. And they always will❤️
