Then again, there was no dr. 6 coming down, reynad had a super solid opening hand and secret paladin doesn't run consecration, so you can't say it was much of an achievement.
@@fishtard9347 He played around it. It's more of an achievement than just simply getting lucky. He won without even net decking against a popular build being used by a fucking tournament player. That's an achievement.
What a blast from the past this was amazing live, secret paladin was such an oppressive deck. Face hunter was such a joy to farm daily gold in this meta, just concede to the warriors and freeze mage after turn 5 and you were good to go.
What I love about this deck is that it usually wasn't going to see much play anyway, because people were all banning Paladin at the time on reaction to Secret Paladin. Interesting tech choice by Reynad there
+James as someone has commented before: "Nice of equal employment rights activists blizzard to hire a mentally handicapped woman to commentate on this game."
+Braska I'm pretty sure that's standard for live esports stuff. I believe the earbuds have the game sound and the headphones broadcast white noise so you can't hear the crowd oohing when your opponent gets a really good card.
+Ruffokl I'm not a fan of his dad jokes either and I don't think he meshes very well with certain casters because of that, but at least with him he doesn't beat the same single joke into the ground.
+Rock Golem I legitimately don't even know who Cronash is, so it's hard for me to be upset about some guy I don't know losing. But yeah, clearly that's the reason I'm complaining, just like it's the reason almost every other person in these comments is complaining about how much the casting for this game sucked. I mean if you want to play that game, why are you the one person rushing to defend her casting? Is she your girlfriend? Does she have something on you? Or is it something else? Kappa
Female commentator said and i quote, "What's kranich aiming for with the equality, maybe FREEZE mage....", she probably has never played hearthstone in her entire life, freeze mage has like 6 or 7 minions in the deck, it's like the only deck you could name that unintentionally plays around equality that i know of. FailFish
SeanPVP I dunno man, I just played a few wild games and realised Im kinda happy that I don't have to play against Belcher all day if I don't want to hahahaha
+Violet Gun Gaming Ye I like both. One thing I learned from standar is that I got way to few of the Clasic cards. So the grind will be on getting the clasic cards first I think. I don't even have Sylvanas
Sindre Eide Yeah same here, I don't have Sylvanas, Cairne, Ragnaros, Black Knight etc Luckily you can bulid Standard decks that work well without them anyway
+Sindre Eide yes!!!, thats my main problem with standard, I came late to the hs party, (played in the open beta but stopped playing until last year) wanted to start from the oldest set to the newer one ditching classic so I bought all naxrammas with gold, a lot of gbg packs now wasted :/
+Eddiexx4 she had a nice catch on silencing the juggler and aldoring the minibot. I think that was actually the better play than what Kranich did. I feel like she is usually ok, this game she was annoying indeed with that murloc crap though.
All she fucking talked about was the Tiny Fin. Who gives a fuck how cute a card is? Nobody that's watching competitive Hearthstone, I can tell you that!
EmiNation That's how humanity ended..we kille all women and slowely died without any descendants.. xd But you have to agree that murlocs are pretty cute.
She said the correct play for Kranich. Aldor the minibot and silence the juggler. Same amount of damage on board and no more knives. Were you even listening?
The keep talking about Hobgoblin, but is this not in the new meta? Then is this wild or standard tournament? Because the Hobgoblin is from GvG so it has cycled out of standard.
You know, we try to be nice to girl gamers and accept them into the community but a portion of them just keeps letting us down :/ This woman is one of em, we know the tinyfin is cute and you are a woman, stop glossing over it everytime you talk T_T
First Reynad with the Aggro pally then Kripp invents a MurlocApocalypse. Hearthstone: Where the hunters charge at you, where the priests steal everything, and the Paladins drown you in weaklings.
Sebastian Hochsteger Honestly, I was in dormitory at the time this video got uloaded and it was pretty late and I had forgot my headset so I had to watch the video without volume..after i saw comments complaining about the female caster, I watched it again and started making complains about her, too.. Odd, isn't it? xd
The Man Who Created Turtles To Take Over The World Yes that is true, but why have tournament just after new patch is released? Tournament being wild or standard is kind of what ever at that point.
+Flexagoon ooohh, I don't think so, if it was a x/1 originally i would assume it would but it's an injured x/1 which is different. I would assume not, but maybe worth a test
To be fair about the female caster hate... Was there really anything more to add to this game than tinyfin being cute in light of Reynad completely outplaying the other guy with stupid jank awesome garbage?
remzzo It's a casters job to state obvious shit, not talk about how cute they think a card is. Could you imagine a football caster talking about how cute a quarterback is and how they want to ask where they got their hair done?
+Pseudo Lain no. i think that if you need a caster to tell you shit you can see by yourself then maybe you got A problem. personaly i would remove all of those. just let me watch the game in peace. i dont need to hear how you met a player 3 years ago and he seems like a nice dude to you.
this girl shouls have shut up... "ohhh, murloc tinyfin kyoot, ohg, hope it lives, ogh murloc tinyfin. where does blizzard get some of these casters? the rejected caster dump?
You're absolutely right, and it has nothing to do with her gender. Her time casting can be broken down to something like: 25%: Comments about the game art, what the players are wearing, and other cosmetic or irrelevant things 35%: Questions to her fellow casters about the basic mechanics of the game and what various cards do. 15%: Reasonable comments about the game-state, player strategies, and other things viewers care about. 25%: Nonsensical comments that are quickly shot down by her fellow casters.
+Tom Graulus only thing she said during the casting: "Tinyfin is so cute i wish it doesn't die" and repeated it 14 times. Holy shit, I'd pay for her to stfu.
+redryan20000 Are you implying an event in your personal life? This is serious feedback regarding her qualities as a presenter. It literally has nothing to do with 'love'. I'm sure he doesn't even know her in real life.
+goodperson656 Nah i think it's just because standard just came out, you don't want pros to play something they don't have experience with yet, is like in League of legends that they play with old patches in tournaments, it's to secure that they are ready for playing it
