RF Chieftain FINAL build guide - 3.25 League 

Great idea! In future I'll add it to the back end of videos like this. I'll put together a quick showcase of some of the hardest bosses and some mapping. It's buttery smooth, you're going to love it!

Hey man! Glad you're digging it. Will drop the crafting guide very soon! Your budget is more than enough to get you going. The sceptre above will be BiS "mirror tier". I would suggest until you save enough divs for it or want to give the craft guide a shot. You should go with these: www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Settlers/3ZjbzqGi5 Super cheap- great options. Would be next tier down from the one in the video. If you wanted to take a crack at crafting on of them I posted a written guide in a comment from my other video that I'll C/P here for you as well. Either way will get the job done! Grab your base item: Sword in our case Spam Deafening Anguish on your base till you get: Damage over time + Fire damage to spells (if you get fire skills and spell gems- you got lucky or you bought a fractured base then stop) Anul till you have these two stats. If you annul it off- redo. Fractures make life easier, but they're not needed. You'll need 1 prefix and 2 suffix open. Craft in this order. Suffix: Multi-mod craft Suffix: Fire damage over time Prefix: Fire Damage + Ignite Chance In the trade link, we've hit Damage over time, Multi mod for fire dot, fire flat and ignite. Check the implicit and make sure it's elemental dmg, fire dmg or something similar that helps you scale dmg. Best of luck! @@borjaarquesamat6371 Hey man! Great tips. So, I played around with Pob and hot swapped gems back and forth and looks at dps. Flame Surge Vs. Flame Surge of Combusting: With Combusting it did indeed increase our ignite chance by 25% which helps on the back end for strength and so on. Unfortunately, I lost about 130k DPS on DD because the dmg type helps each other. I also lost 1.9M DPS from DOT and Burning ground DPS from ON KILL EXPLOSIONS. Which would reduce my chance to oneshot with the explosions and potentially break the chain.. With the Combusting I think it had a slightly greater area of effect which is nice but for me doesn't justify the switch. How it plays out in game play may or may not be noticeable. Our other skills use on HIT to spread curses and eventually chain explosions this way. Awakened Burning DMG support vs Burning Damage Support: It does indeed raise the dps in a few areas. A level 5 gem no qual increases top end dps of skills by 40k in some metrics and up to 200k in others. So nothing to scoff at and going to make the switch. There's a 6 for 7Div that looks good to me. Difference between 5 and 6 isn't much but in the spirit of min/maxing I'll go the best I can come by. Great tips!

Hey Good question! Bladefall of Firestorm While Pelting has some of the highest hit per second. We're trying to cover enemies in Ash via our notable- This will make sure all the enemies are covered in ash. Second reason- if you read the description on our penance mark, it says "Curses a single enemy, causing them to spawn multiple phantasms when hit...". This makes sure we are always hitting what's on our screen. *We've fixed our gloves to have Fire damage leeched as life. This makes sure we are also keeping our leech up as well. My build does have Detonate of Dead Scavenging also- This how my build stacks up vs his version. His: RF Dot 147k DD stats: Hit 65k Ignite 130k DPS Dmg per Ignite 959k Burning Ground 32k Dot 163k Mine: RF Dot: 954k DD stats: Hit 44k Dmg per Ignite 725k Burning Ground 45k Dot 228k So, as you can see- he's leaving a lot of damage on the table building it out the way he has. His RF would perform abysmally even just on regular red maps. He would be relying on DD to hit and start his ignite chain, this in my opinion, is sub optimal as it relies on him getting the first kill to start his chain reaction. My RF zips bosses and monsters alike like butter.

Hey!Mage blood is a fantastic start. You don't need everything in the video to get afk going in Simulacrum. Shield I used Rise of the pheonix and for the most part had no issues afking every wave. I ended up opting for the shield you see in the video. To buy one, you'll need 180 div. To save some coin, you could grab the reservation node at the bottom left of the tree and the shield will cost roughly 25div. Making the shield with luck could be around 25div RNG of course. Large cluster: ~10div each Medium cluster: ~7div each You don't need Flame jewels. Crafting a second best in slot weapon: Easy craft roughly 10Div with RNG. Boots/Gloves: 20 div each for a good set. BiS could be 80-100div Hatred with cannot bleed: 80div without the enchant you'll want tattoos or jewel corrupt and the ring cost a few chaos. Perfect bloodnotch: ~5div immutable force: 20 div for a good one. Keep an eye out for a corrupted blood immune version- so you can be more flexible with jewels. I didn't do this because the jewel I bought was decent enough. Jewels: 1 div each with the fracture and used fire harvest craft to make my own. 1 div back then got me 10k life force and i did all mine in 6k. Rates now 1 div gives about 6500 life force. use a cinderswallow with regen life till a better flask: a few chaos defiance of destiny 24% : ~18div .. personally i wouldn't buy one that wasn't max 20 roll. 6 link cloak of flame : ~100c - you don't need the corrupt but it helps. So depending on how much you want to invest- ~124 more div can get you the budget version of the farmer. If you wanted to settle for much less than perfect gear going barebones- probably a third of that.. however you need to keep in mind.. because of the simulacrum buff to monsters life.. when you cast your curse- you need to be able to kill those monsters to start your ignite chain.. otherwise it wont feel very good. More DPS is better, especially vs Kosis. Any questions as you're building it feel free to ask- or join me on stream. Happy to help!

You can use alternatives till you trade for the perfect item. For example the comment above uses a sword with good ignite proliferation and great damage- What i'd consider near BiS. If you wanted to go with mirror tier. You can craft your own or hire a mirror service. Items that go for 1 mirror- once you message them they'll require the mirror and their tip. Make sure they have TFT account and go check their reviews. If they don't have a TFT account don't do business with them. Hope that helps. Shield will cost around 180div but you would have at least bought the above items and shouldn't run out of Divs- let's say you do, you won't brick the build and can still smash all content with ease. One item that is difficult to come buy is the hatred ring, they're rare and expensive. @@ConfirmedK1lls super thank you plus I already have quite a few gems and clusters as I have already done a rf and a detonate aflk in pathinfinder. I also have the mageblood the amulet and one of the two rings plus the progeniss. I will buy everything easier

@@Iskooo10 If you have the hatred ring with bleed immune- then the Valyrium ring should have poison immune. 1 bleed and 1 poison.. doesn't matter which one has it as long as you have one of each.

@@Iskooo10 you basically have some of the hardest pieces already. With your budget you should have no problem getting the rest. I would then consider mirror service and pick yourself up a solid weapon. Shield will be roughly 180div and then pick up the rest of the bits and bobs. I plan to be on live stream here and twitch tonight and have a regular streaming schedule starting next week. Let me know how the build goes for you!

Hey man! I had a look at your POB. Your set up looks on point and was nice to see! I'd like to offer some suggestions to improve your dps and help you min/max as well increase your chaos res. First thing I noticed were your jewels. Our main stat we want on our jewels is FIre Dot Multi and Max Life. After then we go with Dot multi, Burning damage and Fire damage. Stats we can sacrifice one jewel and throw on a stat if absolutely have to but we want to avoid that and try to get that on our gear. You can achieve this by buying Fractured 7% Maximum life jewels then using FIRE craft with harvest. You'll land FIre Dot multi pretty quickly. If you Land FIre dot multi and FIRE MAX and it's at 1% don't just reroll.. you can change that fire max to cold with harvest and it rerolls the value.. then when you swap cold back to fire it can reroll to 1-2%.. do that back and forth till you have the 2% you want. BIG tip there and will save you a lot of lifeforce and headache. Prio on Fire dot multi will grant you a huge DPS boost, could be about north of 120k more DPS on RF which is huge. It's roughly 20k more DPS per jewel just swapping out to Life, Fire damage, fire dot multi, damage over time jewels. Have a look at your chest armour and look for dmg% corrupt.. you could also consider a harvest enchant that changes the % quality to grant fire resist like the ones found here: www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Settlers/eV623dYsL Look in the filter and you can take off the enchant to get more options. Don't worry about the colour of sockets because tainted chromes are a thing. This will at least grant you another 50% DMG Your rings corrupts are decent but we want to migrate over to bleed immune on them and poison immune. This will allow us to choose wisely our jewel choices. We struggle as a build with physical damage and not being bleed immune impacts us a lot. At this stage of the league you can also get corrupted blood on Immutable force jewels now allowing us to be more flexible in our jewel slots. I also did not see HInder immune on your jewels, some monsters can cause Hinder and for whatever reason just makes the build stop working. It seemingly random but it happens and you end up just dying randomly out of no where. So Hinder Immune is an absolute must. On our cluster jewel we want to swap out area damage for burning dmg when we can.. If we need stats this is one of our last chances to pick them up. I opted for Chaos res. You can also consider using Tattoos- you have enough int you can easily cap your chaos res as you only need 12% with Flask on.. I would use Tatts so that I was as close to cap without the flask- just in case. Currently you're setting at 66%chaos res with the flask effect on. I chose to use a combination of both cluster jewel chaos res, and INT tattoos for more Chaos res till I was happy. Fixing your jewels to min/max and simply levelling to 100 will allow you allocate points and hit over 7k life easily. So you're well on track there. Your road to min/max is pretty much done there. You can swap over to a reservation shield so you have more life for petrified bloods degen (potentially adding another aura in place of a movement skill) but honestly Rising phoenix is a great shield.. and at 180div the juice has to be worth the squeeze for you. I made a lot of farming strats and crafted a bunch so I was okay and made sense to me. No need to upgrade helmet but you can always go for perfect rolls and more supported by socket dmg. I did some calcs in POB it actually doesn't increase DPS as much as you think it would. If you Mirror copied my Sceptre to your build, it would increase your DPS from 380k to 490k. So another 110k DPS on RF. It's very expensive but it will give you an idea on what would happen if you went and bought on for yourself and how it would impact your build. Hope this helps, overall you have an amazing build and that's what I would do to min/max if it were me.

You could use these, but you'd need another way to generate endurance charges. There is a node at the bottom left of the tree that grants armor and endurance charges. If you want to go with Untiring- you'll have to consider how you're going to generate your charges.

@ConfirmedK1lls o really? I'm useing them atm in place of 2 Jewls that I haven't quite got the stats on. Thought the 40% increased regeneration would be awesome in the build. Would using them stop u getting endurance charges then? Maybe thos is why I get 1 shot in wave 13 on sim 😆

@@simonbuckley7020 The one shots are likely to do with the physical damage you're taking from the boss and your overall DPS. Post your Pob, let's have a look and see what we can do to improve it. www.poewiki.net/wiki/Unflinching Have a read of the notable- essentially by stacking the dmg reduction, you take less overall dmg. Doesn't work with DOT but helps a lot with end bosses. If you end up using your jewel combo, you have endurance charges in the build, but you ALSO need a way of generating them.

@ConfirmedK1lls ahh ok. Makes scene now. If I could.post u my POB I would mate but I play on ps5 so I'm using poe planner on my phone 😆 my pc died last year, and I'm saving for my new beast. This is just to keep me busy till I get it built. I have a question on the jewels. I have a few fracture base with increased max life. How would I Craft them, im useing wild life-force atm.

@@simonbuckley7020 Hey bud, I get you! We've all been there haha. So, for jewels, take your fractured base + life force and head to your harvest crafting station. Look for modify fire, cost is super cheap at 50 a roll. At the bottom we can filter the search- type "fire". Start rolling till you land Fire damage over time, our most important stat. You can then try and land damage over time followed by other stats like, INT, burning damage, fire damage and so on. Have a look at the jewels in my PoB to get an idea. On jewels, you need to have corrupted blood immune and hinder immune somewhere. I solved my INT requirement by getting a T1 roll on my helmet.
