Completely agree with you! Best Porsche Cup realisation of all top sims out there (acc, iracing, rf2). Yet I don't quite like it's behaviour with worn tyres, and how fast they actually worn.
200% agree with you. What a shame that there always were and I think always will be, some child problems that prevents this game from great audiance of fans, that it deserves. Still just pure driving a car in rF2 brings pleassure. While other sims it's just about getting faster to farm some ratings, etc.
@@simstation1122 so true,is frustrating because devs are not capable to make people race on a fkin server with few fkin free cars instead to force everyone buy something
I play in VR also at my home. rF2 runs and looks pretty good with maxed headset resolution, and everything mostly low/off. Only keep AA at 4x. Also I recommend to use rF2-settings-widget for more VR 'goodies'.
@@Webzterr Just find it weird you think it has anything to do with the game's realism what he does in the real world that doesn't at all affect the game. Just like yelling AAAARGH when you die in PUBG doesn't make the game feel more realistic, not even if it was recorded the same way as here.
Incredible rendering ! Can you make a video graphic setting ? I have a 3080 ti and even with all the rendering at max I don't have this rendering ! I have 3 screens samsung g5 odyssey in 32".
TBH - no secret here. Just everything maxed out and 2k resolution per screen, to obtain good FPS. No additional software used. P.S. I'm also using 3080 Ti in this setup.
I'm also running triple 4k 55" OLEDs pushing 250fps on a 4090 in 4k on iRacing. How did you get your bezel free kit to stick to the screens? That been a PITA for me so I took them off until I can figure out something better...thanks!
No mods for rFactor2 was involved in this video. Just stock game with maxed out settings. To be honest the overall picture in rF2 depends a lot on a track/car combo and conditions. In this case Algarve circuit just made and looks stunning. Highly recommended to try.
PC with i9 CPU and RTX 3080 Ti GPU inside. For TVs - Samsung QN85A 55" (runnin it in 2K resolution per TV). And for the settings... Oh that's a topic worht separate video tbh. Check one of my replies, somewhere under this video. Where I covered it in more details.
I've bought 2 bezel kits and attached to pieces for each side. Connecting them with thin adhesive tape. It's not the best solution and you can notice that if look closely, but in dynamics / while driving - you just don't notice that "connection" at all.
I'm running a 3080 Ti... But a lifehack for such GoPro videos is to use 2k resolution per screen at 120 hz. I was pushed to such lower resolution because of issues with my DP-HDMI cable. Yet it showed me that picture is still awesome and FPS is much higher)
At some point I'll do a review of my setup. Still in few words: TV: Smasung QN85A 55" (4K, 120 hz, 5ms input lag) 60 degree back-angle of the screens ASUS free bezel kit glued together to fit 55" screens. And pretty close sitting position, to be at same distance to each TV. In-game settings of the triple screen - is the harders part. And it makes a big difference. As you can see all youtube setups even so beloved Boosted Media - have rubbish point of view. They look at car's dash from above the wheel. It's nonsense. When we sit in a car - we look at dash through the wheel. That's what I've achieved with my setup. So it's really immersive.
@@simstation1122 @boostedmedia dont have the wrong POV, only time you see over the wheel is if will is driving a GT with a GT style wheel so it supposed to look like that. you have a nice set up though, good luck with the content!
@@deanhydesimracing Seems that my opinion was mostly based on his older videos and GT-series of vids. Yet the last couple of vids have very good FOV setup (gr86 in iracing looks perfect to me). For me it's not achievable because of panel size. To keep proportions and look exactly in the middle of TV panel - 55" isn't enough. So I can't see so much car's interior in lower part of the dashboard.
I don't agree. Most of fresh content looks awesome with proper setup. Also consider that looking at same game but through different monitor config - provides absolutely different results. For example ACC looks awesome at any modern monitor, but absolutely opposite at big screens... It looks so "plastic". And trees are so ugly that it even hurts my eyes ) Some tracks/cars/scenarios looks much better in vanila AC with CSP and even no-PP than ACC. P.S. But I agree that most of the mods for rf2 - looks like from past century )))
@@Hani_Santa What tweaks do you mean exactly? While at home I play in VR - so I'm interested to know. Also my recommendation to play completely w/o post-processing effects in VR, but set all other graphics settings to high+.
