I actually think the attacks work in RFK's favour, it seems the more vicious the attack the more he can easily shut it down with counterpoints. He is impressive in his composure in these situations.
The Dems have a real problem on their hands. They want to shut him up but they can't, and his message is resonating with people across the political spectrum. I'm considering changing party affiliation (again) so that I can vote for him in the Dem primary next year.

As a long time libertarian I stopped supporting Reason a long time ago. They have a hard time processing critical concepts. Just because an entity is a business does not make it a supporter of the free market system. A large enough business entity can easily be motivated to undermine competitive process to its own advantage. Just because something is scientific or science does not preclude it from being corrupt.

You're missing a critical point. The primary means a 'business' has to kill competition is through government bribes, uh, I mean, campaign contributions. He will never make grandiose claims about himself. Often he throws up a supposed study and the person he is talking to has not had a chance to look at the study (i.e. no way of checking while the interview is being done) . Many studies are poorly designed. I chuckled how he thinks long placebo-based trials should occur but he quotes studies that are supposed anti-vaccine which are not long placebo studies. Hmmmmm! On a recent podcast he said that research into vaccines has caused HIV, Lyme disease, Spanish flu and RSW. Evidence please. None. Kennedy has gone down the anti-vaccine rabbit hole. He was once asked to name a vaccine that has been beneficial. He said none. Gee, I thought the smallpox vaccine eliminated smallpox! Anyone with a sound background in immunology would run circles around him. He simply does not have the background to debate. He said he had graphs showing that the vaccines increased deaths but cannot produce him. Multiple sets of data show the strength of the covid-19 vaccines is they reduce severe illness and death. I laughed at his explanation of why the "unvaccinated" had a higher death rate. His logic is that you would judge the effectiveness of an antibiotic if you only take it for two days rather than the recommended 7 days!

You might be right, but I was glad to see Jr challenged in a "reasonable" discussion. They did give him room to elaborate, and I think he did a good job of explaining why they're positions were biased using selective data and graphs. It would be interesting to know if these guys did follow up research based on the new info Jr shared with them. I'm glad Jr is running because it's the only way these discussions would be happening. That said, I predict gruesome Newsome will be the dem nominee.

if someone says something untrue, and you let it pass, it appears as though they have made a good point. I was frustrated by this interview, the interruptions, the antagonism. I was also really encouraged reading so many excellent comments. The line Reason chose to describe this interview is so simplistic and sensationalist. The more RFK Jr. willingly faces all questioners, and articulates his positions, the less inclined the smug and biased shills will be to take him on.
It's truly painful to watch their cognitive dissidence as they deeply know they've been lied to, but pride protects them from admitting... RFK obviously knows that they'll never admit that their government is corrupt and trying to kill them through so many different methods, so he's going about this carefully. At one time I would, because it might persuade somebody not to take the vax, but we are pass that point, those who would take it already have, and those that wouldn't never will. So to keep posting how vax was a bad choice just is beginning to feel like twisting the knife in them, and at worst, bragging that they were fooled and I wasn't. Not to say there wasn't enough infromation available for a non-fool to know not to take the vax, the idea of no long term testing should have been all the easy research a non-fool needed to do.

I am amazed that people do not know of the information you shared concerning the importance of clean water, hygiene and healthy food (not sprayed with poisons such as DDT, which CAUSED polio) bringing down the prevalence of many diseases that once plagued humans. Childhood diseases DO create antibodies to adult diseases and the shots induce many problems later in life, as RFK pointed out. Parents who wish to vaccinate their children (based on faulty science) are welcome to do so, and deal with the consequences. But shots should NEVER be mandated. The guy apparently did not know that in the Amish community, for example, there is NO autism, as well as NO shots. That's an interesting assertion that DDT created polio. What is the data on that? I am very open to hearing this. My grandfather was actually one of the inventors of DDT and one of his sons was disabled for the majority of his adult life with polio. He got the polio from two of his children that contracted polio and they recovered but he did not. It's interesting that you're saying there's a correlation there but I've never heard that before.

I dated a woman who had 4 home births and kids with no vhachs. Right b4 10, I think school demanded she get the triple one. She would do flips out of trees. 3-4 most later she could barely walk...2 more weeks and she would have died. Burkitts Leukemia and Lymphoma. Lots of hard and fast chemo. She came out of it. Now almost 18. Going in to Children's Hospital was the first time in or needing a Hospital.

It’s good to see skepticism and criticism toward RFK Jr. and his views pertaining to vaccines. Surprisingly we don’t see this same skepticism or criticism toward the government health agencies or vaccine manufacturers who have repeatedly been found guilty of lying to the public.
Yep considering some of them have had to pay out billions to people injured. I was actually shocked to find out more about the fda process on a fluke when I watched some Netflix documentary years ago. What’s crazy is the same people that were once in charge or are major decision makers at the fda use to sit on the board or hold some important role in a pharmaceutical company and visa versa. I can say without a doubt after combing through tons of data myself when it comes to the covid jabs that cases were never that bad especially in some places until shortly after the jabs rolled out. I did not want to take anyone’s word for it so I looked into it myself on a number of occasions just to double check what I saw because it was so obvious and in the open I was stunned. I used the world tracker site which gives numbers for every country and more. Unfortunately sharing the info was squashed by big tech even now unfortunately.
RFK spews misinformation, so at times you have to put a lid on the waffle and interrupt. When a prominent person makes claims, it does no good to anyone not to stop and challenge the points.
Everyone who interviews and debates him ends up interrupting him while he’s talking. Meanwhile, RFK Jr sits patiently and quietly while the other side speaks. To me, this shows his amazing tact and intelligence. He continues to impress me.
I stopped watching around the 12 minute mark. They don't bother listening to him, they are just waiting to talk. They have their minds made up before the conversation starts, which is sad considering they call themselves "Reason". Everyone like these two are SURE that they're smarter than everyone else and can't wait to tell us why. It's beyond frustrating and (unbeknowst to them) they are actually alienating more people than they are convincing.
His voice is a silver lining. He knows he can't overpower someone in conversation, so he sits back and assembles a more convincing, apt, or devastating response. Ive found similar data points when I took a dive in childhood vaccines info when I was pregnant. Ergo, finding his sources he already researched is a great starting point. My daughter got measles at 12 months old, she was ok but she had a bad dose. I was assumed to be an anti-vax mom who hadn’t got the MMR vaccine for her child. It took me showing them the vaccine record to prove she was vaccinated. They then said it was a “breakthrough” case. Several years later she got Whooping cough and I had to go through the same discrimination with assumption she was not vaccinated. Truth be told I blindly followed all of the vaccine requirements back then (late 1990’s) but if I had to do it today I would NOT vaccinate my child.

However, at no time did he ever say that people should not be allowed to take the vaccine, should they so desire. He is against the mandates. I was born in 1971, I don’t know of a single person in my high school that was autistic. The number of vaccines children take today has increased dramatically. Suddenly, one in every thirty five children is autistic. People can put two and two together.
They can’t or they wouldn’t be getting their kids vaccinated. I thank God everyday I don’t have any kids because of what this country is doing to them.
Because autistic kids weren’t going to school until well into the 80s. And if they were high support needs, they were still institutionalized. I was born in 1965. I’m autistic. RFK Jr, in every interview I watch, where he's actually allowed to speak, comes off as one of the most genuine, intelligent people I've ever heard speak. the worst part was when this clown cited the VICE hit piece op-ed about the Rogan podcast, instead of actually just doing due diligence and watching the Rogan interview himself. Had he watched that interview, all of his questions on this topic wouldn't have even been necessary, since RFK covered all of this extensively during the hour or so that Joe gave him to opine on how he arrived at his positions, while also citing and noting exactly which studies he was referring to.

Another point to consider is at that time any illness that caused paralysis was labeled at Polio. How many of those cases were actually GBS or something similar. There was a period when people were coughing up blood were labeled as having TB. I had a great uncle that was listed as dying from TB of the throat. so there were cases of lung and throat cancer were labeled at TB.

The first group of countries have far more booster uptake. These are mostly cardiac events, and dont have COVID as a cause. Theyre also not overdoses. United States is a shitshow in terms of mortality, and it's at 5% excess deaths with a booster rate of 15%. Japan and Taiwan, which both have booster rates upwards of 60% with excess death above 20%. You more or less see this trend across the board. You can't refute the existence of the data. You can give me some other bullshit excuse, and I expect you to.

So that point goes to you, but let's not forget only the fewest of the damaged die, there are quite a lot that have serious illnesses. But to get to your initial point about "scientific data": what definitely can't be denied is that RFK is also arguing on a scientific basis and is much more pointing out the important details, than those generalized and often unquestioned narratives the snob was "confronting" RFK with.
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview for the sole fact that RFK Jr came off as a champion. He continues to impress me especially in his willingness to enter a lion's den with hosts like these and speak with facts and data. The only thing you said that I disagree with it the hosts came with facts. In fact their data was falsified and Kennedy brought that to the forefront as has many others before this. Would love to see the correlating charts showing the vaccines issued during the last several decades and the astronomical increase in childhood allergies, disorders, etc. that didn't previously exist. When I was a kid, there was literally no one that I knew in my entire school that had peanut allergies, for example.

The Reason journalists explicitly made it clear that they are not supportive of lockdowns or mandates for vaccines. First off double blind placebo is used for every novel vaccine (like covid). But once you have established a safe vaccine and update it to combat a new strain double blind placebo risk for outweighs the virtually non existent rewards. Vaccines and their components are constantly tested in phases 1-4, in various combinations to make sure each component is safe. And using an existing vaccine is completely viable as a placebo if its safety has been previously proven. Otherwise you are risking large populations of people, especially children, to exposure to deadly diseases.

As someone who is used to getting the same confused and vacant looks when I share my views, I admire Robert Kennedy’s courage, stamina, and conviction when engaging in these discussions.
There is a huge difference between an anti-vaxxer, and someone that questions the safety of the Covid vaccines. When I compare the effectiveness stated when the vaccine first came out, to the current effectiveness, I can't trust no faith in big pharma, the regulators, the government and media. We are years into the vaccine. Where is the in depth analysis, showing what we did right, and what we need to do better next time? The way this has been handled gave the anti-vaxxers far more credibility than they had before.
