1 thing i should mention, If this is not already mentioned in the comments, that if the proto plugin is Enabled, trying to boot up an OG Xbox game freezes the console.
This is pretty cool! If I get my 360 RGH3ed like I'm hoping to at some point, I'm definitely thinking of doing this. Just a shame the guide can't be changed to the Blades one, but I guess nothing is ever truly perfect.
i mean if your 360 is an xenon, zephr, opus, or falcon (and i think jasper reasearch that on ur own time lol) can actually be fully downgraded to an old kernel but you have to have the 360 taken apart and the nand writers still soldered in, i dont know the other steps but i think you can get blades as long as ur xbox was manuafactored before august 2008
@@yeahboi711 Hmmm my 360 is a Falcon manufactured IN august 2008, is there a way to tell whether I'd be able to downgrade it or do I just need to use a different 360? Also sorry for all the questions, I'm new to the 360 modding scene lol

Can i do this through xbox neighborhood? Or is this a USB method only ? I keep all my games on aurora. Im assuming this wont have any effect on aurora or the hard drive itself. Is that a correct assumption?
As far as the boot animation it's a fake animation. You have to reflash the rgh when you want to revert to the stock animation. It's been a while since I've had an RGH.
yeah in dash launch you can specify which dashboard to boot into by holding down the button you put the dashboard in for example the but=A section would be to boot into a dashboard if you held down A on controller on boot
okay so make sure you install ddashlaunch and enable liveblock and livestrong then add the proto plugin in plugin 2 and restart the console then i believe you should be good my discord is ashiscool._. if you want a more detailed explaination
i have rgh 2.0 corona motherboard and doesn't seem to work it and say the game couldn't start and crashes am i doing something wrong put all the plugin as they should be so unsure what going on help would be greatly appreciated
@@stinger-xd9pp you put the plugin in slot 2 right? Make sure to save you ur config in dash launch then restart ur Xbox as that error usually means you started the dash without proto
@@yeahboi711 i ended up fixing it the problemn was i had to delete the xbdm.ini and then resave.ini but over all ty for the video love the support gonna drop a follow keep up the grind and follow your dream
any idea how to get it to run smoothly. blades always crashes pressing b to go out of menu not even just games menu. nxe runs extremely slowly and laggy. kinect works fine unless u go into settings it freezes the console.
since its an older dashboard meant for an older kernel there are problems that pop up from time to time. ill be honest this is more of a novelty thing than a normal dashboard. Personally id recommend using nxe or kinect if you are going to use an older dash as a main dashboard
@@yeahboi711 NXE is bearly functional at all which sucks ive tried asking other people in the proto discord and they say all the dashboards work perfecrly fine for them. And saying my stuffs probably out dated but they dont seem to have any other files for download so they probably on crack.
@@yeahboi711 I didn't test it myself because I have an Elite not a slim but I've heard on forums about people's unsuccessful attempts at loading blades on anything newer than a slim.
@@yeahboi711it's a compliment not a dick, just take it bud. 😂 I'd rather stick with Aurora anyhow.. the blades interface is junk when navigating a modded build.
