Many kids have reached great academic excellence due to motivation/pressure of their parents...for the most part. It works statistically. RGV someone thinks it doesn't work. This is one of the reason why India is exporting so many software engineers. (Also one of the reasons why we don't produce entrepreneurs also)
Pressure and force will only export engineers (as employees) not innovators or path breakers...that's reason we make more employees If you permit and encourage the child to follow his passion they become innovators and entrepreneurs not employees

When you delay. I can say 98% humans starts loving or liking other gender when they are 14 age. When the other person accepts they can do what ever they want. Marriage age changing decision is not so important now. Important is change the age of voter from 18 to 21. At the age of 18 he doesn't know anything about politics. He doesn't know about parliament, votes, states, what CM and PM will do also not know for younsters @ 18
1. Regarding Manu dharma and Disha crime: It is foolish to think Manu dharma is related to Disha crime. I myself am a brahmin and have never heard that Manu dharma even once in my life. Pretty shallow analysis of much more complex problem of rape and crimes in general. More gruesome rapes and murders happen in the United states. Do you think they read Manu dharma? Coming to Manu Dharma itself, i think it basically comes down to your interpretation of it. I can imagine the times it was written but I digress. So if you take it literally, then probably there is no difference between RGV and fundamentalists/ extremists. Basically India is still a male dominated society like all other cultures. Some evolved into equal societies and I think India is on the way to become one. 2. Regarding Garikapati's view Heroines and their costumes: While I too disagree with Garikapatis opinion, you can't categorise him as a follower of Manu Dharma.
