Varma Sir, U exactly explained the definitions of Critics & mostly "Qualification" . Reviews should explain individual opinion on the product. But should not make the readers to show enthusiasm by giving the "SPICY HEADLINES". Review should educate the viewer,but turning the viewers attention to the websites.

The reviewer in the argument is dumb and he is not objective. He is biased and lacks judgement. ram gopal varma humbly apologized for generalizing reviewers that is being objective.

RGV is very clear in his answer, these guys have taken it very personal though RGV has apologised the panel for some generalised comments. That's appreciated, that shows his maturity. That guy in black shirt need not over react and more than others, critics can talk or write anything and when they go through something similar they talk about freedom of expression, when your feelings got hurt u oppose, complain similarly when RGV does it he is using derogatory statements and corner him. Good that he walked away than wasting time.

RGV has done a right thing leaving in the middle. This Murthy has given mind blowing explanation that if films are stooping to the worst level, why can't a reviewer? Then you are not eligible to review Mr. Murthy. If a person has a cornered/narrow opinion on a technician, he is not eligible for reviews.

I went through all the 382 comments. Only 10 comments are against RGV. That means 97.4 percent of the people are supporting RGV. This shows how meaningless these critics are. Having said that, I am surprised RGV has come to this debate at all! I always thought that RGV is a "Sthitha Prajna" - one who is immune to emotions and all kinds of provocations. This shows that he is human after all!!

If press is about freedom of speech then why the hell are they barking at RGV's freedom of speech???

Saying that movie director and critic are doing similar job is a joke. Movie director is telling a fictitious story where as critic should be talking about facts about the movie. It makes absolute sense to say whether director's judgement behind a scene is good or bad. But it is not responsibility of critic to second guess motive of a director regarding his dedication to make it a success. I am not a big fan of rgv, but he has a point . But he may have crossed the line in responding to a criticism that crossed the line in the first place.

This is a symbol of press and media to show off, RGV is correct. Media has power to express their views the way what ever want, Can use any language but not others. Media is the one of the pillar that can effect a country, it has such a power but these poor people misusing it. Even in this debate also reviewers supported what the co reviewer did, he would have discuss about film but what is the need to discuss about director and producer. There is no need to answer to the press guys about his comments but he came to in front in front to discuss but not debate.
