I love the merging of nettles and Rhaena‼️ I hate the way Nettles was described in the books.

I love Nettles. She was one of the best people in the books. But, I really think replacing her with Rhaena is a good thing. It could help Daemon snap out of the visions. And come to the realization that he needs to go back to Dragonstone. And REALLY start flying South to take Kings Landing, as he does with Rhaenerya and Syrax by his side.

IF Nettles isn't going to appear in the show, then how are they gonna explain Daemon turning against Rhaenyra, the whole thing was that Rhaenyra goes mad, thinks Daemon's sleeping with Nettles (which they were so not mad there) and orders him to give her up. Daemon laughs and gives Nettles a chance to run before going to Harrenhal to face Aemond where he invents ASOIAF Kamikaze. How will they showcase Rhaenyra and Daemon's split if Nettles doesn't exist cause even mad I don't think Rhaenyra will believe Daemon's sleeping with his own daughter Rhaena.

Seems like they said they were to combine them, but it would be nice to see Nettles story

She knows the story and was shown the inscription on the dagger about the prince that was promised. The prophecy is a dream that Aegon Targaryen, the first Targaryen ruler of Westeros, had while ruling Dragonstone, about a long winter that would bring a dark enemy and the return of the white walkers. Rhaenyra has now passed this prophecy on to her heir Jace. I stand behind Rhaenyra because she represents House Targaryen and she knows of what its its ultimate purpose is to in the end achieve.

I would bend the knee to Rhaenyra if we are talking about the beginning. In the beginning Rhaenyra was caring, strong, smart and the "true heir". She knew (and I believe that she truly believed Visarys)) about "a song of Ice and Fire" and knew a proper Targaryen needed to be in the Throne and dragons were needed. By the midway point or farther, she had lost too much, suffered from PTSD and it changed her so much, she wasn't able to rule as the kingdom needed, no adults were fit to be rulers.

Rhaynera for sure. She was named hier by her father the king and the kings word is the kings word. Aegon II is a pretender for the Hightower's to steal the thrown. Just wish they would get on with Daemon in harrenhall story already.....

It wouldn't be an issue as long as if they're combining Raina and Nettles story arc they don't combine it to the point of Damon sleeping with his DAUGHTER Raina because even we deal with Brother and Sisterly Love in these stories, but after that scene with Damons dream in where he was in a sexual situation worh his MOTHER, I'd just assume not to see that if i can avoid it. It would SUCK because I'm GONNA watch it regardless, I just hope that's not part of it

I want a true adaptation, not a total rewrite of the book! I can understand eliminating casual characters for budgetary reasons, enhancing & deepening characters, maybe even combining characters' roles but not when the story completely changes. I do hope Ryan doesn't go that path.

I watched season 2 e1-6 last night again I realised I had missed a lot I didn't pick up on, what was a standout was Rhaenyra children were very much like her thoughtful and gentle, where Alicent children are greedy, power hungry, and ill-mannered , I think sheep stealer has a important part to play in the show, is it that he kills Vhagar, sheep stealer is a very impressive looking Dragon and its life the wild made it a Good fighter, Rhaena has been upset she never had a dragon will be interesting E7 & 8

i see the pattern now, Why cant Rhaena be a lady like sansa ? why did the writers felt the need to make her a girl boss by stealing and cutting nettles dragon and storyline ? About that kiss between the queen and the white worm, it felt right and logical, but i do not think that it's love yet, just warmth.
