@d bollman What I mean is that I don't know if Daemon's psychology is real. The last time he almost strangled his wife-niece, had he been under strong self-control and then got out of control? Those kinds of personalities are not repressible. In contrast, G. R. R. Martin describes more consistent personalities. The same problem I see in the character Aemond: the same as Daemon, the same erratic character, the same appearance and the same letters in the name (he only has a shift to the left of 1 character, haha).
@@juanar4305 Well, you're probably still pretty young, if you think, personalities always stay this consistent. There are many things that can change a person. Not completely, but especially when it comes to temper, self control, life goals etc... You can be changed by parenthood, by relationships, by losing your loved ones, , by wealth or poverty, by severe diseases and much more. Life is full of surprises. I'm in my early 40's now and I'm *very* different from the person I was 20 years ago. Have fun growing up, Juan! :) Greetings from Germany!
@@moserfugger6363 In my experience, a personality like the one presented by Daemon at the beginning of the series, *essentially* will not change, will not control itself, will just spiral into a downward spiral. I think the writers are too young and have no idea of human psychology. A good way to excuse the scriptwriter is to assume that Daemon is sick in the head. When things work well, their variations are limited. When they fail, they fail in multiple and creative ways.
@@chipmunkpark8826 your characteristics dont change, she literally looks like another person. If you get a picture of angelina julie on her teens and right now you can still tell that its the same person
Say what you will about him. But he loved and was loyal to his family. After seeing the state of his brother was in, the pain he was feeling. His wife losing a baby and her son. That would be enough to tip anyone over the egde. Deamon is not bad or good he is a mix of the two
I have a surprise for you people. Marriage between biological uncle and niece is allowed in Hinduism, and it is a common practice in some Hindu communities. Marriage between first cousins is allowed in Islam, it is a common practice among Muslim communities. Judaism also permits the marriage between first cousins. Adam married his own flesh and blood, the Lord God created Eve from Adam's body part. And Adam's children marry each other - Cain and Abel are married off to their own biological sisters. And mankind propagates and evolve from that incest marriage which are allowed by the Lord God at that time. So yeah, while today marriage between the immediate family members among the adherents of Abrahamic faiths is prohibited by the Lord God, it was not such a foreign concept among the adherents of Abrahamic religions who are familiar with their holy books and scriptures, who are familiar with the history and origin of mankind as narrated in their holy books and scriptures.
