Her acting is so good at that brief moment. She is looking to her husband for a bit of a reassuring look or comfort when shes upset and Daemon is off in his own head revelling at his dark deeds. She knows him too well and just does a double take. So good.

Everyone talks about Rhaenyra finding out it was Daemon. Rhaenys was the first person who knew it was him. She’s known him the longest and knows him better than anyone else. It also shows Rhaenyra has a blinded view of Daemon as it took her a while.

I loved Rhaenys in this scene. Her hitting Daemon with that accusatory death glare, and his shy and guilty side eye. She KNEW Daemon was the culprit, she didn't have proof but she knew. Even when she told that man to "mind yourself" she still didn't stop stare at Daemon.😂

Everyone are eager to hate Ser Criston Cole, and rightly so. But Daemon is just as bad, if not worse a character. He is arrogant, reckless and cynical, guilty of several crimes, and driven by his own impulsive thoughts and needs.

I 100% believe he intended for Jaehyras to be killed if Aemond was not found. He was smirking the entire time and was all smug about it until Rhaenyra got mad, then all the sudden, he was like, "Umm...my bad."

Rhaenyra was looking at daemon like “Can you believe this Daemon? It’s absurd who would do such a….say sike right now.” Daemon: “hmmm????”

I like that it did not even cross her mind till she looked at daemon, her first look was that of endearment then it quickly changes to "no you didn't"

Not gonna lie-I cackled when Rhaenys read Daemon like a book, and while I laughed at Rhaenyra putting two and two together herself, I was also saddened to see her expression go from searching for support and reassurance to “I know you didn’t fuckin murder a child!”.

I don’t know why this is so hard for everyone. Daemon doesn’t want to rule, he wants to be the hand of the king. His brother wouldn’t do it. Rhaenyra wants to make all of the decisions. The reason for a hand is to do the things a king can’t or won’t. Daemon wanted to do this for his brother who was weak in many ways. He tried to do it for her. Both of them couldn’t see that daemon had evil in him, and used it against his enemies, not them.

I feel like this argument wouldve gone over smoother if Daemon knew how to apologize. He made explanations, excuses, and seemed to regret what he did slightly, even still, Rhaenyra didn't need explanations or excuses. She needed an apology from her husband.

Emma D'arcy is amazing. She's made Rhaenyra lovable in a way she really wasn't in the printed story.

The war at this point is nothing but an epic battle. She’s lost the politics. Daemon is gonna get gate kept even more from brutal tactics.

Although I’m not Team black or green (it’s all one house both sides having characters I enjoy) I’ll admit I really liked the scene where Daemon is at harrenhal it’s one of the coolest scenes so far! You can tell that no matter how savage he is having the murder of a child (his nephew) starting to weigh on his mind was a great idea!

The terms and conditions of Otto were indeed a folie. Daemon is right about that.

This scene shows that Rhaenyra loved Haelena as her sweet sister, not just a half-sibling. I am angry how the show gave us too many time-skips rather than explore the dynamics between the characters (they only showed Rhaenyra and Alicent) before the war kicked off.

Technically in the show at least, Daemon gave the order to kill aemond specifically, then the assassin's improvised when they couldn't find him and re interpreted it It may have been different in the book (I don't recall what Daemon wanted, but blood and cheese were more sadistic and forced Helena to choose a victim, then swapped the target)

Matt Smith was the best casting decision in this show. There are some great actors in this but he is 100% in his element.

Whats crazy is the Knights watch doesn't even have to listen to the Queen, he serves the wall before the Queen. So he can something like that and no one will or can do anything. You lose the nightwatch you lost the realm.

I have very little to no sympathy for Rhaenyra here. She has always known who and what Daemon is but now that she is a queen with the responsibility and burden of ruling a kingdom she suddenly has a problem with who and what he has always been. Please!

I feel so bad for her, I love these two together but he truly is to blame for the biggest things that resulted in the worst repercussions-seducing her in the brothel & starting rumors of her losing her virginity to him even though she didn’t & made people look down on her (an easily influenced teen) then abandoned her instead of fighting for her hand (if they got together when she was young this all could’ve been avoided-if hide didn’t have to lie to her father about it-thry didn’t get married and rule together bc viseyrs didn’t allow it smh-or rhaenyra to be wed to aegon either which were both amazing choices) Then once she’s older makes it seem as though she killed her brother and sisters son jahaerhys making her look evil. Vaemond was clearly a POS who got on everyone’s nerves and he took his public disrespect too far so i don’t think anyone cared about him going. Regardless of whether she was lying about the kids or not-kings have bastards all the time EVEN aegon has multiple lmao-he still took it too far with the disrespect of a royal heir. Bastards or not, he had no right to be so angry or petty unless he was just sexist. Rip bc corlys is the better brother anyway What else? Exactly. the big things were daemons fault, yet people cry about why she now has trust issues. She DID act, but she never once ordered it to be a CHILD. Rhaenys, Rhaenyra w Rhaenys as her hand/Corlys while wed to Daemon for heirs, Jace/Baela have always been the better choices.

Rhaenyra had so much propaganda to use against the greens and turn lords, peasants and kingdoms against them like her son being murdered by the greens and her throne being stolen from her by the greens. Daemon ruined her chances to use all that propaganda and gain even more support because of this stupid move that didn’t even go as he planned.

Man. I held some hope that they’d finally be true to the books. Rhaenyra is not some blushing maid in all this. “A son for a son” she knew what daemon meant when he sent word to her. I’m guessing they’re going to have to change even more to keep making her look innocent like they did Catelyn Stark

IMO, this show rivals GOT in quality. It doesn't have the depth of detail and plotting, but the acting, writing, sets and VX are top notch.
