Omg you're right they did say that alicent moved into the princesses room. While Helena moved into her room and aegon into the kings room. Damn. They obsessed. And such hypocrites.
@@icemanx5085 It's really crazy to me that people think that wall was just to keep out Wildlings. Like, the Starks based their entire brand around it and people think they was just being dramatic.
Im a huge fantasy fan but have PTSD and incest is a huge trigger, this series allows me to enjoy a show i wouldnt be able to otherwise. Harder to be triggered by incest when olay is there to yell at them and call them all nasty ass
The reason we loved Dany was because she stood up for the common folks, freed the slaves and had revisionary ideals. That's also why it felt like such a betrayal when she suddenly started blasting all of the peasants. The Red Keep was just over there, that's where your enemies are, blast that shit instead.
Why I don't can't support the blacks, Rhaneys is irredeemable becuase of episode 9, and tbh I don't fully blame the character, it's the writers tryna force in a "cool" moment
She was basically the mirror of Queen Alysanne, the wife of Old King Jaehaerys. She also loved the common folks, even her dragon, Silverwing, was more docile than the others. She was bonded with Silverwing for 61 years.
@@korexoxo Probably cuz she killed a bunch of smallfolk and ppl in general who aren't even the greens when she made her dramatic entrance with her dragon during the coronation.
I can't wait for Incel Cole's interrogation next week!! Otto is gonna ask why he wasn't guarding the Queen as he is the Queen's guard and he's gonna bumble like a loser that he is lol!!
Helaena is a Dreamer like Viserys. She predicted Aemond losing an eye, Rhaenys escaping with Melys and now the death of her son. And they still don’t listen to her.
Funny how, when Rhaenyra suggested to Criston Cole that she marry Laenor, and they keep seeing each other on the side, he flew off the handle at her, acting like it was beneath him to be a side piece. Only for him to turn around and end up doing exactly that with Allicent.
Allicent is the epitome of scorned lesbian who thought the love of her life was a straight woman energy. Couldn't stand one bit of her and her spawns last season lol
EXACTLY 👏👏being a good mother is holding him accountable Which his mother never did he never got that from his mother viserys tried to What made me sort of like him was when he claimed vhagar and they caught him he got his ass beat he said ( I lost an eye but I gained a dragon ) I said at least he understands consequences 👏 GOOD FOR HIM then he fucked around with he BIG ASF DRAGON and killed luc then I despised him 🤬😡
People like to forget he threatened to kill Jace with a rock, as far as Luke knew, his brother could have died that day and he wasn't gonna let that happen.
@luzcalderon7808 he threatened them with the rock because he was literally being pinned down and attacked you forget aemond wasn't much older than the kids
I have to be honest with you, Daemon is on demon time, Rhanerys is NOT going to approve of what he did. Daemon is the General, and they need to let him cook!
@@OlurinattiPOPI discovered your HOTD reviews TODAY and they are THE BEST! The greens are THE WORST and F! Ser Incelot! (Ser Side Piece; Ser Hunch n Munch; Ser Bitter B*tch) I watch some of the other reactors and at times I’m like “Wait, did we just watch the same show?!”. You spitting pure FACTS! And I love it. You have a subscriber for life! Can’t wait to watch the rest of this season with you.
Helaena doesn't have much description in the books. Her being a psychic (and very much Neurodivergent coded) is the show's idea. I like it because while plenty of Targaryens have psychic visions, they don't have any understanding of neurodivergence in the series so they just think she's extra weird when she just wants to show off the bugs!
Please review the whole season because you are channeling my inner anger against the trifling greens. Your review is thousands time better than these essay bros out there.
Alicent reminds me of them girls who parents forced them to go to catholic schools, now they can’t stop watching your business Ps they was in my Rhaenyra room. I know they be thinking of Rhaenyra while on they ghost move
Bro the sounds when they got Jahaerys!!! 😣 I had on subtitles too and it was like "knife hitting flesh and bone" or something like that. It's some people mad it wasn't more graphic but I couldn't handle anything worse than what we got tbh!!
Who is mad it wasn't more graphic?... The sounds of a baby getting cut up offscreen and they wanted more than that?...people are nuts. That scene messed me up. This franchise truly tells you nobody is safe.
@@Dr.Jalondra-MamiMelusinebook loyalists that want to see the more gruesome and cruel way it was depicted in the books just because it was for gratuitous just for the sake of it in the books.
WHAT??? Your page only has two videos and it seems you’re new to posting? I’m shook you deserve thousands of subscribers, I look forward to all of your reviews. You definitely gained a new subscriber in me but praying for your success, sis you deserve all your flowers for how much effort you put into all your videos 😊🔥🔥
In the scene where Daemon hires the rat catcher, he asks what if they can’t find Aemond, Daemon gives this creepy smile… I think he told them to kill the baby
Halaena is literaly the only ennocent non-violent person of the entire Series, she refused to participate in the Dance of the Dragons, bbygurl just be reading her books and speaking in riddles. She did not deserve this at all 💔 Her silence during the scene (as opposed to the screaming in the books) made me feel like I was grasping for air…it felt suffocating. Like those dreams where you try to scream but no one can hear you..
@@AriesGirl7719 As someone who read all the novels, I can say that "Fire & Blood" is written like an unreliable history book created by the biased and sexist Measters. So, none of it was written to be interpreted as cannon, just a really misinformed account written years after things popped off.
@@JessP-ut9gl Yeah, I get that. I’ve read all the books as well. I was just trying to start dialogue about whether people think the change made it better or worse. For me, I like that she wasn’t in the room for the murder and feels guilty because of what she was doing.
Ok, sorry didn't know you'd also read all of the books. I agree with you about the changes serving to magnify Alicent sense of guilt. I think Alicent is someone who is very motivated by shame and repression. Like she has a desire for control but is so stunted she can't realize how in over her head she always was until right then.
@@JessP-ut9gl Yes, I agree with that. Her guilt and shame about her actions with Cole and how those actions allowed her grandson to be murdered will undoubtedly affect her mental health as more and more falls apart. The more she loses her perceived control the more she’ll lose her mind. Do you think the show changes have been helpful or hurtful? Specifically, making Rhaenyra and Alicent friends? Making Helaena a Dreamer? Do you think they’re going to introduce Nettles??
And can we talk about the town people living in squalor while all the rich people living in with all the riches convincing all the poor people that they have to support them. SMH!!! Hummmm sounds familiar.
Alicent on some Single White Female time! I'm with all the wicked shit, it's war baby! I know how it ends. Disclaimer, I was never a Daenerys fan and the way GOT ended made no sense at all based on the characters they depicted the previous 7 seasons.
Look, LOOK... I ain't watched a minute of the show cuz I gave too much of my life to GOT for how it ended BUT I finally gave in to JUST NOW start watching the recaps. RU-vid has been AGGRESSIVELY pushing your channel at me AND I'M ABOUT TO RE-WATCH ALL OF IT BECAUSE THIS... IS THE REQUIRED PERSPECTIVE! I NEEEED IT!!! ❤❤
After watching your Season 1 vid, I couldn’t help but think of you during the Allicent & Ser Crispin scenes and just shaking. my. head. LMAO Also Rhaenys proving yet again that her dad picked his successor BADLY 🤣
Girl you deserve more views. Opinions on point and you give great breakdowns with the BEST humor/jokes . So glad i found your channel. (Season 1 recap)
Blood and Cheese saved and otherwise boring episode for me. Also Criston is such a hypocrite and loser. He didn’t want to be a side piece lover with Rhaenyra and be her babies daddy, but now he over here being a certified lover boy to Alicent? I swear those two reek of the I hate Rhaenyra because she wouldn’t love me club. Cole must think Rhaenyra will regret her life choices when she finds out. Like “oh no how could you Cole?!” lol
Unlike everyone I've learned from history rooting for the "good guys" in this series they all die early. Root for the "bad guys" save yourself the heartbreak
watching the latest episode, and when Otto basically pinched his eyes closed and said "and WHAT did Ser Criston Cole do?" i did immediately picture Olay cocking her head to the side
FINALLY someone who shares my sentiments about Danarys in GOT!! You will never get me to go against the one who rode at dawn for the death of that chocolate sunshine Masundai!! Yasssss!
OMG this was brilliant. I am loving this honest and hysterical take on box eating, Alicent being a horny villian and me hoping that wasn't Larys Strong going down bc that would be just nasty!!!! Lol
Love the video! Although I do have a rare disagreement with you. The fans turning on Daenerys was because she suffered from character assassination and bad/rushed writing. She didn't just burn some rich people, but a whole city. She basically nuked the medieval equivalent of Washington DC. But that happened because the writers rushed the show and didn't properly progress that plot imo. I do fully stand by Rhaenyra's claim, tho. Anyway loved the breakdown!!! I'm excited to watch em after I see each episode.
I don’t think anybody cared about Dani killing anybody in power. The problem with her (and I’m not even that upset with her, my anger is toward the writers for expediting her arc all the way hard left) is that she didn’t kill ANY of the niggas who wronged her. She killed the poor and innocent townsfolk. That was something she’d never done before that and she was always heralded the people’s queen because of that. If she was pissed and taking her revenge with fire and blood, she should’ve taken it with her adversaries, not the people she was supposed to rule over.
I don’t even watch House of Dragons but watch your recaps because damn is it entertaining how you sip the tea. Thank you!!! Please keep just being unapologetically you. ❤
I know Helena looked bad for not fighting to keep her son alive, but I got the impression that she has visions, she knew it was destined to happen and that there wasn't anything she could do. Maybe its addressed better in the books. Also, as someone who LOVED the first 4 seasons of GOT and hated what they did to Dany's character... It was not about what she did or became it was more so about the half-assed rushed way that they got her there.
I think the reason they were "checked out" was because they were so arrogant and so sure that the Black wouldn't or couldnt come after them which is just dumb to me. What mother wouldnt come for blood after her son is killed and i love what you said about Vhagar, like damn he aint a Pokemon Aegon throat could be slit by the time Vhagar even wakes up from his nap.
I haven't and probably will not watch a single scene of this show but your recaps are enough to tell me Rhaenys EXHUDES eldest daughter energy, the way she paid no fucking mind to her baby brother trying to pull one on her
Ayo for real you can tell how worried the Greens were about Aemond killing Lucerys and starting world war dragons. Real concerned about the consequences. They some bums
In the book it was more brutal and somewhat better. In the book there are two sons, and Blood and Cheese force their mother to pick which of the two boys to kill. She chooses the younger boy (the older being the heir and the idea that the younger would not know what was going on anyways) but instead Blood and Cheese kill the older boy and tell the younger "see, your mother wants you dead boy". Traumatizing both of them even further with how cruel it all was. Kind of a shame they didnt write that into the show.
@@__Andrew Ummm, I think that version played out on camera would have been devastating and triggering to many. I was triggered just LISTENING to the sounds in that episode. As a mother of 2 children, it was painful, it truly was. Many would agree. So to play out the book version would probably send some folks over the edge. We are not a vulture that can watch children being murdered, even on film. And to have a motger choose the child, many couldn't stomach it. I am obe who did not read the books but watched GOT and now HOD. I now want to read the books. But I'll be honest, I'm nervous because I know the books go were the series wouldn't
@@WokeOne75 The book that HotD comes from is more of a "history" book. Its really interesting cause it covers a LOT more stories but usually in very vague or general terms. So while its not as in depth as the GoT books, its still a lot of fun to read, especially about places the shows/other books often over look like the Summer Isles (sort of a Caribbean vibe, and they have cool boats) or the Sothoryos that is jungle covered with large ancient cities left in ruin that no one really knows anything about. And as far as the Song of Ice and Fire main series, nothing really goes beyond what you had to see in screen in the Red Wedding. There are depictions of rape but its not really any worse off than the show showed. A good place to start with the books might actually be the "Dunk and Egg" tales that start in the book "The Hedge Knight". Its a couple of short stories set between HotD and GoT's time (about 90 years before Got) and there fairly tame and great reads. Plus the next HBO Game of Thrones series will be based on them. So if you read them now you'll be ahead of the game. Martin has a whole bunch of other short stories out there outside of the GoT's world as well that are worth the read too.
12:13 Cheese actually asked Daemon, "What if we can't find him?" They never finished that conversation before cutting to the next scene, so it's implied that Daemon told them to just kill a son. It's some shit that Daemon would do, cause he's a fucking sicko and always has been.
I'm glad you brought up the switch up against Daenerys cuz it was CRAZY to see in real time. But F them traitors Daenerys is STILL my one true queen!!!
How did I not know about your channel sooner??!!! I subscribed after the first commentary on this video!!! I KNOW I will LIVE AND LOVE this channel!!! ❤❤
Don't leave out the simp of the series Crispin (I know that's not his name but he doh deserve better) who is equally cringe in this series. I hate him just as much as the greens tbh
whats crazy is that in the book aegon sick ass threw a party after aemond got back from killing luke, and thats when daemon was like bet i killing ya son
In the book Aegon II and Helaena had 3 children, as twins Jaehaerys and Jaehaera had a baby brother named Maelor. Blood and Cheese gave Helaena a Sophie'e Choice to decide between killing Jaehaerys or Maelor, saying that if they did not pick quickly they would rape Jaehaera and then kill them all. She picked Maelor to die, but they decided to tell Maelor that his mother wants him dead but then they kill Jaehaerys instead.
I know Vhagar is Aemonds dragon but like I get the vibe that Vhagar gonna do Vhagar at the end of the day so long they they feed her and dont get in her way shes cool but if they play games with her 👀🐉
Ooh, I do love a messy show! I loved your recap of the first season of House of Dragons, and I KNOW the season 2 recaps are going to be even better. Loving that you've made this channel and are doing videos for you!
