We don't know for sure if Daemon dies, that's first. In the books he never abused her, that's second. Third, this was the most unnecessary and out of place kiss I've ever seen. It doesn't feel organic, feels just wrong. Imagine being told by your "friend" they've been emotionally and physically abused by their father and then starting to make out with them right after. Hello?? 😂

Well, at least he eliminated her biggest headache Aemond and Vhagar.And so I don't understand her relationship with Mysaria at all, she literally knows her for a couple of weeks (yes, she helped her) but she must trust her right hand, her son,Baela and Daemon.Not kissing Mysaria.So she going to blow it her kids by kissing Mysaria.

I think Mysaria is just using Rhaenyra to get powerfull. Rhaenyra feels alone and useless on Dragonstone. This is well established by now. And just notice how Mysaria is always there to sing her praises, when Rhaenyra is in doubt. Also, Mysaria clearly didn’t expect the queen to do this, but after a few seconds of hesitation she goes along with it. To me it looks like in that moment she realizes what a huge opportunity she is presented with (just like when she saw the other Kingsguard twin coming to kill her). The fact, that Mysaria since the very beginning was presented to have a transactional, calculating mindset only supports this theory. Unless maybe Rhaenyra changed her. We’ll see how it plays out.

Mysaria is trauma dumping... graped, physically and mentally abused.. the forced abortion from a child implanted to her by her father.. and she is unable to carry a child... and then make out time. ugh.

There was clearly tension with them from their first few scenes together. If you were unable to catch that, that's your fault. Take your negativity elsewhere. There was no need to comment lmao. And to say THIS scene is "a very bad case of writing in an otherwise excellent show" is wild considering the quality of this season.

@@swordsn There was tension between them from the start because Mysaria is Daemon's ex, because she is an extremely cunning spymaster, because she worked with Rhaenyra's enemies, and because Rhaenyra finds herself in a position where her most trusted confidant is someone who by all rights should be least trustworthy of her entourage. No, there were no hints at a personal relationship. There were no hints Rhaenyra swings that way at all given that she very successfully pursued relationships with men exclusively all her life and was completely happy doing that. And even if we discard that and Rhaenyra being unfaithful to Daemon doing that (unfaithfulness to Laenor does not count as an example since that obviously was no real marriage), nothing personal beyond the status of a confidant was established in prior episodes. So no, bad setup is very much not my fault however much you like seeing the result. Which is perfectly valid for you but justifying it after the fact simply because you like it is disingenuous. And I absolutely will point out instances of bad writing even in an otherwise great show. Yes, it's exceptionally good. No, one problematic scene in no way diminishes the rest. But being aware of mistakes is the crucial step to not make them in the future, which will only make the show even better. There is no need to comment anything. Or reply to my comment. Or post videos. Yet we do it. So your statement is faintly ridiculous. :)

Just FYI to everyone - In the books Rhaenyra was happily enjoying threesome with Daemon and Laena while they were married . They have not shown that in the show .
