Joliet really is the perfect vocalist for this. She does the eerie elegance of the Harlequins justice. Has a very Nox Arcana feel to me.

I don’t know where I heard it but this song reminds me about a story that Inquisitors sometimes allow Eldar Harlequin troupes to perform on hive worlds since they wear masks so they just appear to be tall humans and the content of their performance is decidedly anti-chaos without revealing the existence of the ruinous powers.

Did you know that Solitaires are the only Harlequins that can outplay Slaanesh in their dances, as anyone else will be driven insane by the performance? Pure. Unadulterated. Badasses.

I'm glad to have had this opportunity to work on this composition. The lyricist and of course StringStorm are both fantastic, dilligent, and extremely talented with their work. I would love to keep working with StringStorm, although I don't plan to get too much into the lore of Warhammer. Way too confusing for me.

I had a blast diving into the intricate lore and world of the Harlequins to get inspired for writing these lyrics. The song for the End of All. For the Death of Aeldari but also the death of Gods. For the Dead God of Death. And also for the Dancers of the Laughing God. Beautiful.

The Laughing God is probably pleased, but make no mistake I will find that black library and learn everything I can. And no God-Emperor damn clowns are going to stop me from finding that the Library.

I don't know what it is precisely, but something about the cadence of this song reminds me of the old Celtic/Irish epic ballads. Which is rather fitting considering the Eldar are "space elves," making them the closest thing to "the good neighbors of the forest" this universe has.

This and "Sororitas" are legitimately two of my favorite songs. Not just on this channel, but in general. Joliet is really talented.

Never played Warhammer 40K, but read all the lore and this fits my favorite faction: The Harlequins. Heck, this fits my own soul... doesn't matter if it is for a Fandom. You know you got a magical thing when it's meant to pertain to one thing and spreads beyond its target audience.

Absolutely stunning, the pairing of Stringstorm and Joliet is actually perfect. First I get hit with Adepta Sororitas, then Ave Imperator, now this! Perhaps a song idea could be Armageddon Steel Legion, and Joliet as the vocalist for it!

This is amazing because you’re so engulfed in it you’re aware of subtle sinister undertones except they aren’t undertones they’re in your face

The driving pace, it builds tension and draws you in. And then the slowed sections seem so much more intense.

This is so amazing! I always associated demented circus music with the Harlequins, but this fits them so much better. Darkly elegant music with bits amusement mixed in, the lyrics have an undertone of grim humor, and Joliet Shuff's vocals were so good.

So in the past 48 hours I've watched pretty much everything StringStorm has put on youtube, and I gotta say, this is my favorite, the vocals, the beat that sounds almost like war drums, the foreboding, seriously it's this one, Rylanor and then Protean Politics, but this one is damn near perfect.
