Rhapsody of Fire!!! Nothing else to say. My favourite Symphonic Metal Orchestra is back in a way you cannot describe. Just listen and feel this breathtaking mixture of great arrangements, wonderful choirs, perfect harmonies, professional voices, fantastic composers...From the beginning to the end Rhapsody takes you out on a journey you won't ever forget. I know that the new album "Glory for Salvation" will once again be a Masterpiece and I cannot wait to hold in my hands.

I use a lot of Rhapsody (of Fire) when i am playing RPGs. I mute the ingame music and descend into the lore and dungeons of these games. When I was playing Heroes of Might and Magic Games it was always my preferred ingame music and it felt so much more "real". I could absorb the feeling of the games this way and listen to your great soundtrack of my adventures. Thank you for that new and old Rhapsody :D

Chorus sounds like a bridge. I want choruses like "Knightrider of Doom" or "A new saga begins" - sing along anthems. That was one of the things this band was amazing at doing.... in the '90's and '00's...

@@g5930 o problema é que muita gente fica falando mal do Rhapsody of Fire (na maioria das vezes viúvas do Lione e do Turilli). "Ain, sem Lione e Turilli não é Rhapsody", "Rhapsody acabou", "virou mais uma banda genérica de Power Metal" e coisas do tipo. Se não gosta mais do som que a banda faz hoje em dia é só parar de ouvir a banda e partir pra outra. Parece que esse povo tem prazer de ficar falando mal da banda só porque não tem mais o integrante que ele gosta

Man, no matter what Rhapsody does know, there are still people that will start crying because Turilli and Lione aren't in the band anymore. If you keep comparing new songs with the old songs, that are some of the best power metal songs ever written, you will always be dissapointed. They have an almost complete new lineup, don't expect them doing exactly the same as before. I love old Rhapsody, and this 2 songs are also pretty good in my opinion, but the people than I mentioned will call all the new songs bad no matter what.

Someone else mentioned this but the problem here isn't the vocals, its not the instrumentals, its not even that the line up changed. It lacks the emotion, it lacks the feeling and passion driven behind it and feels like your dime a dozen symphonic stuff you can hear literally anywhere else. The flow doesn't feel right and it is not something I'd show to a new listener to get them invested in this band. I've loved these guys for a long time, and its just not the same anymore when you take out the heart and soul of the band. This just feels like a paint by numbers Symphonic Power Metal song. Nothing unique or original to it that makes it stand out and makes you go "THAT is the shit i love." because it sounds so generic. I hope the album is going to be better, but these two singles have not left an outstanding impression.

Check out the newer band Illusion Force, their two albums have a really cool concept, they're doing symphonic power metal right. It's a shame what's happened to Rhapsody, and I agree with you.

I agree with you. Yet, the problem isn't the heart and soul being taken away, because The Eight Mountain was already without them and it's one of their best ever. From what I have heard from this album, it is going to be completely different from everything they ever did. Maybe it's Alessandros evolution, I don't know. And maybe I will like this album one day, I have to see how it grows, but so far I'm not liking this new approach.

@@danielcarvalhovianocturna435 I always get worried when a band states "we're doing something totally different guys!" And then they more or less just end up sounding over produced and generic. It happens a lot.

@@0themanticore0 Yes it does. But that doesn't necessarily mean they will get worst. And maybe a few years from now people will look up to that album. For example, when Iron Maiden released Seventh Son of a Seventh Son they were highly critizised and now it is considered by many as their best album. That's why I said. Rn and from the very few I have listened to it, I don't like this album, but that can change 😉

Particularmente, a este tema le falta algo de gancho... Alex ha compuesto canciones que me han gustado más en el último cd. Espero que el próximo vaya por ese lado.

Totalmente de acuerdo. Cualquier canción del anterior album es superior a ésta. Parece que no tiene estribillo. Incluso el single I'll be your hero es mucho mejor y ganchera.
