I don't know why but somehow this didn't appear in my subscription feed earlier but anyway, great job as always :) Love that fill at 2:25, it fits perfectly to the song!
i have quit guitar bass 2 or 3 years ago ... see you playing , make me feel that i should back playing my bass again !!! i love what you are doing ... Excellent cover
I loved this! The studio recording volume level is just right. Lots of folks turn it up too loud you can't tell if they're playing or it's the recording. Awesome job! Thank you!
This reminds me of three things. I love music and I have no talent and others have soooo much talent. Very nice cover. I can see in your expressions how much you enjoy playing and covering this song.
that's the best talent to have. Still won't allow you to become one of the greats though. Affinity to any given subject is at least as important as hard work and discipline. The world ain't a Dragonball Anime. You can still suck if you practice a lot.
As always Depp you rock my world with your great cover! Damn i'd love to do a duo with you. Your bass and my drums or if you know something with trumpet!
You get better with every video, and I like how your ear is picking out certain areas to put in different types of fills and runs. Speaking of which, they are quite tasty. Damn good job.
I saw this after your New Years post. I enjoy that include your feelings more than your opinions. In my mind, I would imagine Flea to be difficult to cover, but do an amazing job at least. Congratulations on your resolution!
can't stop listening to this song... and you did an amazing job :) my slapping skills getting better but there's still a lot of practise to do to get to your level...
Your transitions from slaps to finger plucks are really good, and this is on an older video. Mine always sound sloppy, and I struggle to keep the resonant tones down. I need to practice practice practice.
Hi, I'm not good at English but I wanna say thank you!! I'm just started learning bass because of you :3 you're my motivation. and also this song too. love you
you sure pick the hard ones depster , of course the flea is a fellow countryman of myself, when you open up your thumb and inner palm and pickfingers simultaneously , relax the carpal tunnel nerve, this will give you freedom to swang bang dang that thumb and let your pick fingers do the pluckin . warm your right hand up with some moving around before attempting song , you play it beautifully, but go a little bit out of time on the bridge start , that is because you are so forward on the beat to the bar in this song, you should lag a little , its nearly a reggae. I comment jasmine because I consider you a web bass player friend, to just say ,,..'oh wow '' your fantastic, is to trite , considering your musical expertise, my comment is too make you think perfection is never achieved, .. but you are damn close. .. chris ,, from Melbourne.
Teaching yourself is always great, but I feel like a lot of people don't learn how to read sheet music. Please, for your sake... Learn how to read sheet music.
