This is footage was gathered during July 2021 when I was lucky enough to have a footplate ride at my childhood railway- The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. What made it even better was being on the pride of the fleet Samson and getting shown the ropes by a good friend!
The footplate footage comprises of Samson climbing out of New Romney on the way to Dungeness.
