@@believeinmatter it’s a burger show… but for R&L they aren’t known foodies right? Like in a generic sense… but they’ve spent years of content eating and judging food to their audience that they’ve become kind of stars in the culinary world of RU-vid.
Josh was almost calm in this episode. I think he was just having fun vibing with Alvin and it was fun to watch them kinda be in awe of each other while still taking a little smack.
I love how the reasoning Link gives (even if he's just playing up the joke) is basically "Yeah, but if Josh doesn't win, we gotta fire him, and then who's going to cook miscellaneous animal parts for us? I can't go back to "boiled for safety"."
@Sol Verof if you're gonna throw out a steak for a burger, you never had a good steak. I love a good burger but nothing goes over a simple, perfect made steak 🤤
Easiest way to fix this was have Stevie explain each burger without revealing who made wat and then the choice is unbiased. But this was a good episode of mythical kitchen, I mean the burger show 😂🥴
I finally hear the F word spoken in the Mythical Kitchen, albeit by a guest on said guest's channel, and STILL Josh has the most shocking line with "sexy baby diaper"
Mythical Beasts will know that Josh says bonkers stuff all the time, but the image of him eating 2 western bacon cheeseburgers while sweating in a public sauna is...a lot.
I love what josh does, but seeing Alvin's work next to him really puts the skill difference in perspective. Alvin made what appeared to be a small and simple burger, yet had enough complexity in it to rival Josh's towering 'all in' sandwich.
Why even say that dude? You think Alvin would be impressed by your observation? Do you think any of us are? Josh isn't some pretentious asshole pretending to be something he's not, so what motivated you to say that? Tearing other people down make you feel bigger? Lame.
@@rizeagle33 - "actually" implies its a fact when its not. Some burgers stand well without a sauce, and some sauces accent the burger. It all depends on the type
@@rizeagle33 Need and want are two different things - I agree you can make a good burger without a sauce, but I think some type of sauce makes almost every burger better.
Been posting on GMM for Rhett and Link to do a Where in the Nation do these localized burgers come from episode in collaboration with George Motz! This is a great lead in to that!
7:00 This man knows culvers... ok I'm in.Also "This guy knows how to eat" is the greatest validation Mythical Chef Josh can get about his eating technique. That just bolstered the lore 10 fold.
@@Ottophil they do podcasts on a variety of stuff, they have some interesting content u don't find elsewhere imo For ex, there are some where they try out food places of the same kind of food to see which one they like most, like which fast food place has the best chicken sandwich or even the bun.
This one is amazing! Another fantastic crossover was Try Guys try cooking with a chef and they have Josh and Nicole from Mythical Kitchen. Such a chaotic crossover 😅
As much as I love so many, "bad for you" fast food burgers and that In-N-Out is my favourite fast food place to go.... NOTHING beats a greasy made Sourdough Jack... Little bit of heaven.
I just finished watching GMM. After this, I think I'll go watch how Josh made Illegal Chips over on Mythical Kitchen to round out my Morning RU-vid Ritual
I love how Alvin gives it up for guest chefs. Like people come in with new perspectives, new takes on old ingredients, he's just always there to hype them.
This is how a show overtakes another. This felt more like Mythical Kitchen and GMM. I love both these shows though, so I appreciate EVERYTHING About this content 🥰
I think First We Feast should challenge "Sold out every day! The hamburger that won the 1st place in the US Best Burger Awards 3 times!" The burger is evolving and not always within the USA.
I love how burger specialists like you guys, and like the great George motz aren’t pretentious snobs about your burgers, and embrace the simplicity of the burger and American cheese alike. It’s doesn’t have to be fancy sounding to be amazing. Simple is good. Shows like these have really helped me up my burger game, and my family’s taste buds thank you all for it.
So many times I’ve watched fast food content on GMM and have hoped to see Culver’s represented (I know it’s not available in L.A.), so thanks to Alvin for showing some love.
I would have picked the frisco Jack. Sometimes less is more. The Carls/Hardees burger would have probably been an Oil bomb too, but i guess that’s why it won a fast food challenge
I never have cravings for a hamburger, except for after watching The Burger Show. Everything made on this show looks amazing and thank you for opening my eyes to adding chopped peppers to IN-N-Out
Considering how different these particular chefs are, I think they’d know who made what even if it was blind. Josh is always doing the most, and Alvin is refined.
I just love the plant wall with all green plants then the tradescantia zerbrina silver plus just draws your attention! So excited for this crossover but the plants on GMMs set always steal my attention atleast for a moment! 😂
Real talk: I *REALLY* wanna try Alvin's burger. I love the Sourdough Jack, I love jalapenos/chilis, I love ranch: everything about it is just making me fall in love with it. The only thing that could make it better was if it had pepper jack cheese instead of havarti.
Josh missed a BIG opportunity in using PEANUT BUTTER!!! Although he still won, he could've won by a landslide! Rhett and Link can't help themselves when it comes to PB.
I didn't know Mythical Kitchen was putting random episodes on other people's channels! So glad I found this, gonna check some other FoodTuber channels after watching and liking this one
