This is freaking me out what Rhett said about the visual of the school bathroom wtf. When I was in my highschool, I never thought about this before. There is a older/smaller bathroom on the main floor. This place felt negative to me. I had this thought pop in my head that's never crossed my mind before in my life. This bathroom has a body buried under it. This part of the building has a body under it. So creepy ...
@@samuellipscomb8173 A.) How do you know this person is a man? B.) I am a man, and I've seen a bathroom with blue tiles maybe once in my life. It's not that common.
i did the same thing once in high school, i had a girl pick a card out of a deck and i just said a random card and i was right. absolutely blew their minds, and i never told them i just guessed.
No . Nothing matters is not a bad thing. It's an awareness of existence beyond Ego. Rhett accidentally tapped into the stream of Source. This happened to me almost exactly the same way in February of last year. I also received knowledge and believed in it without any proof. I also received geometric visions and conceptualizations during trance-like or half awake states of consciousness. Many of what Rhett described is what I experienced. It's wonderful he has this recorded and posted to the internet. I also kept records of my experiences. I am an artist and did draw many of the visions and write down many of the ideas. Rhett entered the state of collective awareness (consciousness) that radiates throughout all of existence. :)
It's like having schizophrenia while maintaining sanity. It's not an uncommon experience either. If you research into it, you discover it's a natural part of some people's human experience to go "beyond the fabric" of space-time and tap into things that our evolutionary and social programming wouldn't otherwise allow us to access.
Really? I felt like Rhett was the one more grounded in reality at that point. They're creating so much content, some of it has inevitably to be pretty unfulfilling. Granted, his word choice could have been more empathetic towards his coworkers, but i get the sentiment
@@Itsmyopinion00 I didn't think it sounded mean at all. 90% of what they do at any given time, even as media personalities with more eyes on them, will be forgotten. Playing "Daddy Like, Daddy Don't Like", or literally any other thing they could have done in that moment, is completely insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
@@orang1921 nihilism is something to be realized, not a juvenile mindset, a juvenile mindset would be one of possessions and cravings, of wanting something to matter.
@@orang1921 What part of nihilism is juvenile? It's just the truth; when considering the full breadth of the universe, or the sheer scale that the concept of time works on, no action matters, that's fact, thinking otherwise is just arrogance. Now, that doesn't mean that in the microcosm of our tangible reality you don't matter, humans live in an interconnected society by nature, be it by bonds of family, friends, etc. And in this sphere you do matter, you can enact meaningful change on the lives of others. It's a sort of artificial meaning, only existing by the measure of other meaningless (in the grand scheme of things) existences, but it is meaning nonetheless.
@@Wertsir After the 5th wall , your soul, there is no wall; hollow emptiness. But even an empty jar is filled with air; so there might be a substance made of everything that can be inhabited.
rhett experiencing disassociation for the first time SHOULDN'T be as funny as it is, but i've experienced it so many times it's funny to see someone go through it in a safe and supportive environment.
@David Leintz as someone who struggles with it a lot, the best description is like, imagine yourself. Imagine where your sense of ‘you’ lives in your body. Most people say their head. Now imagine if that sense of self were to be behind your eyes, looking through clouded class into the real world, and its kinda like that. Things feel almost like they’re seen from a second person point of view, like they’re being narrated to you, or you’re reading them from a page as opposed to happening in front of you. There is a detachment from the immediate situation not dissimilar to how i’ve heard medical shock being described. Your body feels slightly numb, and your thoughts feel ‘floaty’ for lack of a better term.
I haven't watched rhett and link regularly in almost a decade and it genuinely makes me so happy that both they and their fandom are still going strong. So many stalwarts from that era have faded into obscurity or worse and it's nice to see them continuing and evolving. What a great video to get in my recs :)
all of this is so related to his religious deconstruction and he’s on such a powerful journey rn & i am always in awe of him & his potential in this lifetime he’s literally so tapped in it’s insane
rhett dissociating is relatable lmao. one way i cope is literally explaining to the nearest person what i’m feeling so i can ground myself a little more
The strobe light sounds exactly like a dmt trip. With crying and fractals and controlling it. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some indigenous blood. Also being this flighty and existential is how I live my life. It is so validating seeing other people act the same way and knowing its pure intuition.
As someone who’s done their fair share of ~hippie shit~ (not the drugs part but talking to spirits) and can confirm the tapping in to something beyond me feeling is so real. U just gotta learn how to do it like anything else. Like for me, I describe it as a radio frequency and I’m scrolling to find what I’m looking for. Sometimes I can’t find it and have to try again later. Gosh brain stuff is so fun
he fully just channeled.. like rhett IS psychic he explained exactly what happens in my head when i channel information and know things and "hear others thoughts" in ways and stuff whatever
Rhett just had ego death. Good on him bro. He understands now, it's all connected and everything doesn't really matter lol. It does in the moment but in the grand scheme of the universe, our blink of existence doesn't matter.
Most people take for granted how powerful their everyday thoughts actually are until they have an experience like this, whether through psychedelics or some other means
Just breaching the curtain between life and death. Peering beyond the veil that protects our sanity from the insanity that lurks in the darkness of all knowledge.
the Good Mythical More clip has the vibes of a bro experiencing depersonalization/ derealization for the first time but not having the words to know what that is. That's not me trying to downplay his experience, just an observation from someone who used to have problems with experiencing these this frequently before I found the right mix of meds and therapy.
My sister who is schizophrenic told me that Jesus came into her room to tell her that I was psychic. So I guess I’m Jesus certified. Too bad I don’t believe in psychic abilities.
@@RealityIsMalleable well I’m glad I could make you laugh! I do think it would be funny to watch Rhett and Link do stupid things were trying to tap in to the existential plane 💀
had a super similar experience of “nothing matters” one of the last times i took a trip… it was like i was hearing a voice that was made up of at least 10 voices, both masculine & feminine saying “none of it matters” in a really gentle tone . lemme tell you i felt simultaneously freaked out and comforted. i think it’s true. there’s really no point or permanency to anything, it’s all just an experience
The funniest thing links ever said is dont go dave matthews on us. I love Dave matthews and his reference to him in that moment was hilariously perfect
