I am French and in all subjectivity, I consider this to be the best version just behind the original one by Édith. Your voice is a genuine treasure, I love how you sing everything sooo naturally, without any cheap artificial effects ! By the way, your French pronunciation is impressively good !

She sounds almost exactly like my late mother when she used to sing this. I almost want to cry... but I'm half French so extreme beauty can make me weep anyways. 😢

Rhiannon is such a treasure for North Carolina, the South, America, and the world. Love seeing where she's going nowadays and then still being able to go back and watch the early CCD videos. She's a great musical artist and performer, but she's like a history teacher too and someone who really digs into the roots of roots music and the cultural influences that came together in America. She's the kind of person you would love to have a conversation with about the past and its role in the present and the issues that we face. Hope she runs for president one day!
