Oddly enough, in my 10 years as a jewelry CAD guy, I don't think I ever did a true braid. So I don't know how to do one, and there are a few tutorials on RU-vid but they are silent or not in english. I've meaning to watch them till I figure it out the pattern and then make my own tutorial. Once you figure out the pattern it's not hard, but figuring out the pattern can be difficult sometimes. It was something I was going to do "one day." But I'll try to do that sooner than I planned (if I can figure it out). I've got a couple of other vids I plan on doing first, tho.
The twisted ring, you can easily add more strands to this, but it doesn't look much different. (The braided ring is more complicated and will look different if you add more strands).
