Very good explanation to one of the mysteries of Rhino surface matching! I am a self taught Rhino user and this subject matter has been haunting me for years. Good job my man. Would be great also if you can share the .3dm resource files from your videos so that we can practice with them.

Awesome content this is a lifesaver as I'm trying to deepen my knowledge in this software. Any chance you could do a tutorial for a car ? As modelling a car covers a lot of the fundamentals.

Awesome tutorial! Thanks for the useful information. What is the purpose of the Shrink trimmed surface to edge tool if I can use Refit trimmed surface to edge in the first place for both cases?

Ermm..I guess Refit may just be good enough for many situation. Refit is a newer tool available only from Rhino 7 onwards. However, it needs to select the edge to be readjusted. Shrink Trim is an older tool, but it can shrink all (up to 4) surfaces edges at one go.

Hi, thanks for the interest. I usually conduct face-to-face courses as it is more effective than online modes; which means I have only conducted 3D trainings in Asia (Singapore, Malaysia and China). Sorry about that. However, you can post your question here and I will try my best to help you.
