I"m subscribed to this channel for THIS EXACT REASON. This channel teaches. Many show work without a single explanation. This man takes his time explaining all the tricks of the trade and even more. His work will bring him lots of subscribers. Education is always the right path.
Great tips, I knew most of them, but camera and zoom tip are a life-saver. I was looking for this knowledge and then your mail came, with the link to this video:) Be well.
These are the best rhino/grasshopper tutorials on RU-vid. Very clear and extremely useful for students and professionals I’m surprised they are not more known please keep it up. Amazing resource.
Thanks so much Jhordan, that means a lot! Really! I am running quite behind on making more but I plan to create a whole bunch this summer so stay tuned...
After 10 years of using Rhino for basic drawings I decided to start using it for modelling assemblies recently. It was super frustrating until I decided to search for ways of viewing the perspective viewport better. Your _ZS tip was exactly was I needed, I've setup all the bits you've shown in that video. Thanks very much for a great video and awesome tips. These are always the type of things you never find in most online tutorials. The stuff a power user would use. This was exactly what I needed. I'll be going through more of your videos, thanks mate!
pas de problème, Philippe! I have been using Rhino since 2009 and I wish I knew some of these when I had started; would have saved me so much frustration. I was taught _ZS by a professor while in grad school and it has helped me so much. Stay tuned for more videos...
Thanks for this video Azhar-the ZS macro is seriously useful. I have used that ever since you told us about it. There are some other tips I still didn’t even know about after using this software for years.
I was trying to get back into rhino after using Solidworks and Fusion for university for a couple of years now. First thing you say is: Middle mouse button is useless - xD I remember I used it ALL the time and made it my own, with all kinds of little mouse macros and all the tools i used where there at my disposal. I nearly turned the video off right then BUT - i liked the tips anyways ;) Thanks for the video
Glad the video was helpful. I have seen a couple of people use that middle-mouse button successfully but for whatever reason I never got the hang of it so I always preferred to customize my own macros. Everyone has their own workflows and for an experienced user like yourself I am sure you have your own awesome tricks and tips I would love to hear about. I put this video together for beginners and I hope it helps them out! Thanks!
Hello, I would like to know whether it is possible the "macro" for middle mouse button to command a Pan view tool instead of zoom in like what you showed in the video? If so, what is the shortcut should I type in the "macro" ? thanks in advanced
