Nice video, you did a great job. I bought these, shipped from the UK to the USA and wow, I love them, they work fantastic. Well worth waiting three weeks for delivery and the extra costs. I like these much better than my old ones, turn style. the cost was $110US. I'm going to buy a few more of these for my family members, and give them as gifts
Great product. I have had them for a few years now and they have been very reliable and quick to use?I noted that you said to line the rungs of the ladder up with the roof bars but this us not necessary as the clamp goes around the roof bar from wherever you put it through the ladder so the ladder could be between rungs on the roof bars and the Clemons still does the same job 😀
My question is: if you need to climb a ladder to lock down a ladder to the top of a van, what do you do with the ladder you used to lock down the ladder on your van, how do you lock that ladder down so you can use it to remove the ladder on top of your van at the worksite?
Have seen many vans with these on, I'm abit duvious about these things... I stick to x2 ratchet straps for my triple extension ladder on my van roof rack. Just apply wd-40 occasionally to the ratchet mechanism too keep it well oiled
@@tonyl1984 Been using ratchet straps for years, never once had one fail on me 🤞. Worked with one bloke who'd have me tie the ladders up with rope lol, once you get the knack for how to tension it, the things ain't moving! Switched to these recently though as people were going round pinching ladders off vans, hopefully they keep holding up!
