I’m leaving this Friday May 24th 2024, and surgery is May 28th. Just wanted to say hello… I’m going alone, my husband can’t work remotely from another country so… ☺️
He did a great job for what I was looking for! Tbh a lot of doctors in turkey have experience with thick skin noses so feel free to do more research if you like and see different methods they use but I chose him because of his social media presence and patient population so I felt comfortable knowing a lot of people went to him and seeing their result
Hey I have thick skin and was severely botched by Dilber. The girl in the video is beautiful and got great results but unfortunately he botches most of his thick skin patients. There’s so many of us unhappy in the what’s app group of his.

How was transportation from the airport? I’m worried about how ubers/taxis work especially with the language barrier, and the airport being so far away from the hospital! TIA 💗
My dad actually rented a car since he was with me and he drove (which I highly don’t recommend if you’re not familiar with the area) but in my trips to turkey in the past I set up transport through the airport taxis from booking.com and they have always been easy! They don’t do Uber in turkey and the taxis can be sketchy sometimes and they take advantage of tourists and charge more so be careful for sure with those

Thanks! And yes I did swell and bruise a bit on day 2 but it was mostly gone by day 6. I think the arnica and bromelain helped a bit but I don’t think both is necessary. I drank tons of water each day and tried to refrain from having too much salty foods to avoid more swelling.
Hello, I really love the nose and your results you look absolutely gorgeous hun 😍 well I’m planning to go to Dr Dilber as he’s very experienced and does amazing nose job like long tip barbie nose which is awesome his work is generally very good. As I’m not looking for anything cheap or for packages like you and then at the end I get botched. So I’m really keeping him at the number 1 priority for getting my rhinoplasty done soon . May I know how was his hospital please ? His assistant were pretty much nice with me on WhatsApp and saw my pictures also answered very straightforward which I really like.
The hospital was like any other hospital so not much different but I enjoyed the overnight stay a lot! I think you should discuss the procedure with both doctors and see which one you feel more comfortable with. Although one might more experienced in your eyes, they may still be a great fit so definitely explore both options ♥️
I BEG you to reconsider Dilber! There’s so many more great doctors in turkey who also charge less. He has soooo many unhappy botched patients as well. Not worth the heartache

He’s also one of the only Drs I’ve found from turkey with a lot of Google & realself reviews and they all seem very happy minus one guy that didn’t have a good experience. Who do you recommend otherwise?
It’s normal that doctor Dilber’s Assistant takes long time to response? She quoted me and then she disappeared , just because I asked her if Otoplasty is the best price? Since I’m doing 2 surgeries at the same time you know I expected a better price since we’re doing 2 surgeries and then she never replied to me 😢
They did take some time to respond to me a few times but I gave them some time because we were on different time zones and I’m sure she probably had to verify with the doctor but if you don’t hear back within 48 hours, I wouldn’t even give them time of day lol. Doesn’t matter what country you are in, if you don’t respond to me, I would take my business elsewhere to someone who prioritizes me better 😂
Hello, I’m thinking about getting my nose done by him. For how long do you have to stay there for the surgery and to get the sutures removed? 2 weeks? I love your results
I did mine in July they told me to stay in Istanbul for 10 days but to be honest with you once they remove your cast you can go home because I didn’t see the doctor after once they took off your cast in the 5 day you don’t need to go back to them that’s what they told me
I stayed until the 10 days because I was booked to leave then but technically they do take the cast and stitches out at one week and I only went back for him to do a final check (which seemed like it was just for social media filming) so you could skip that and leave early if you wanted to but I had a 13 hour flight and there are some risks for flying too early so just be careful with what you choose to do and listen to your medical professionals advice!
I actually went with my dad and it is a little nerve wrecking traveling there as a woman in my opinion but it can be done as long as you are safe! I always pull Maps up when traveling in taxis to make sure I’m going the right location (turkish taxis have screwed me in the past with going longer routes and I’ve had one scary encounter there as well) but I think if you stay in the popular areas and just be smart, you should be fine!

I was there back in July and although I had a horrible experience with Dr. Dilber, I will say Turkey was lovely and safe. The people were soooo nice and friendly.
Hey, thanks for the video. What was the payment type used? They are quoting an amount to be paid by cash which I find mental since it doesn't seem safe to be waking around with almost 10k cash and less protection. Any help would be appreciated
Yeah I had to do $500 deposit which was wired to them and then I had to carry $9600 with me which was the most stressful and ridiculous process lol. I think if they want more out of country patients they need to fix this but to be honest I doubt they will because it’s probably a benefit for them 😂 who knows🤷🏻♀️ but definitely explore other doctors there and see if they offer better options with the payment than Dilber does
How was the aftercare was the nurses nice in the hospital? I’m going alone in December and so nervous. I did tell them I hire a nurse for the first 3 days to stay with me at the hotel for maybe 4 hours a day
The nurses in the hospital were fine, weren’t amazing or bad, just doing their job but it was hard because they didn’t speak English so I had to use google translate. It’ll be nice to have a nurse with you the first few days after! You may or may not need it but extra help is always a plus ❤️

Great info!! I think you mentioned even though you chose another hotel, that they had a package with hotel/transportation. Did they give you a quote for the cost of that?
At the time I requested they stated $2,000 with transportation to and from the hospital for the procedure and that was with the Hyatt located near the office!

When I asked it was $2000 usd! But it seems he gives the same cost but switches the currency which doesn’t make sense since usd is technically less than euro. I liked that the hotel was near the office but tbh you could find another hotel for cheaper and just pay the taxis to save money during the stay!
I started two weeks before because I am prone to bruising but I’m not sure what the recommended time frame normally is! I also used arnica cream after surgery to help as well. Research is hit or miss on if this actually works but I thought I would cover all my bases and do it since it’s natural and wouldn’t make a difference regardless lol

They had me wire them the $500 deposit but I’m not too familiar with WhatsApp so I wonder if they changed their process because the wiring of money was sketchy and weird so paying through a link sounds easier! In the end, they got the money and everything was good but it was a weird process lol.

No I didn’t hire one! They provided it for me at the hospital and at the office. As for things I brought… a travel pillow was great and helped me sleep more comfortably while being propped up, q-tip and hydrogen peroxide for cleaning around my nose, Netflix or any streaming service because there’s so much downtime while healing, and arnica cream or pills for bruising and swelling!

I did feel pain but it was more of an uncomfortable feeling than pain at a certain point. They provide a list of meds to get which include pain meds so as long as you continue taking them in schedule, you should be fine!
@@ilikethewayyoulickthebowli3967 First surgery I got was a rhinoplasty/septoplasty by a doctor in my region. Throughout the 10 years after that, I had two additional septoplastys (minor surgeries - just for my deviated septum) with that same doctor. Then last year, I went to Turkey to Dr. Dilber for just a Rhinoplasty. So technically yes it was 4 total surgeries but two were only major reconstruction and were 12 years apart from each other. I had a lot of breathing problems I needed to fix before I did my final reconstruction lol
@@ilikethewayyoulickthebowli3967 lol definitely not normal. People only usually get one surgery for their deviated septum and some will do a rhinoplasty for cosmetic adjustment at the same time but I was just the unlucky one 😂 on the bright side, everything is better now!

I paid $10,000 USD for a revision surgery but my friend was quoted $7,000 USD for first time surgery. I’d recommend you message them because I’ve heard different prices and I don’t know if they base it off of your consultation and photos or just a base price.
Only cash! They had me pay in USD so I had to fly with $9600 ($500 deposit was wired). It was definitely nerve wrecking carrying that cash on me which was a downside. They need to consider other methods of payment but I’m sure they benefit on getting just cash which is probably why they state only cash payments
Nope! I guess 10k is the limit to travel in and out of the US? (Not sure the rules on that) but if they asked me I was just gonna let them know I’m going to turkey for surgery and show the whatsapp messages for proof of price but I don’t think they really ask. I definitely think the doctors office needs to provide contracts or something before you fly out because it’s just such a sketchy process to go with no confirmation of anything but the WhatsApp lol
I didn’t have that happen to me this time around but that has happened to me on one of my prior surgeries within that first week! I realized I needed to adjust my diet and drink more liquids as too much salt or even spicy food can increase swelling. I was also taking bromelain pills to help with swelling. If you don’t need to adjust anything and your swelling is that bad, I would reach out to the doctors office for guidance!
Could you please tell me how long it took for them to answer you on WhatsApp. They answered me yesterday asking for nose pics and what I wasn’t satisfied with, but haven’t responded yet. Should I keep waiting, does it usually take a couple of days?
They def took at most 2-3 days to respond but I would also look at other docs if they take too long! If they really wanted your business, they would answer within 48 hours in my opinion 😊

@@gazellexo I also noticed that they are closed on the weekends, so I guess that could be a reason too why they don’t answer because on Friday when I wrote to them they answered in 5-10 mins.
Save your money and go to someone else doll. Although this girl has beautiful results, unfortunately that’s not the case for most patients of his. He’s known to botch 50% of his patients

It is still significantly cheaper than back home and the doctors in Turkey have more experience with thick skinned noses compared to the doctors in my region.
Open rhinoplasty! He cut through the middle and even up the sides of my nose which was new to me and I still have scarring but I can’t give a final opinion on that yet until I give my body sometime to heal more. There is some surgeons I’ve heard of in turkey who can do some major changes and not do open so I would highly recommend that!
Dr. Dilber has a video on his Instagram of my before and after but I’ll wait till my 1 year to post a video showing my before and after since that’s what my nose will look like after all the swelling finally goes down!
@@nim9582 it has definitely healed and although I am happy with my nose, there are some problem areas but nothing that would make me go back and do another surgery. I feel like Dr. Dilber could’ve done a better job but it could only be in my case being a revision and not for anyone else getting it done for the first time. Still don’t regret it though and love my nose!

I wouldn’t say it was painful but just uncomfortable, I had a lot of congestion that the sinus spray was helping breakdown but I couldn’t blow my nose and sleeping was rough but I had an airplane pillow that helped a lot since I had to sleep at an incline!

I’m aware! I’ve looked at other surgeons in turkey but he was the one I felt most comfortable with. Since I was a revision with a prior rhinoplasty and 2 septoplasty surgeries, I was a more complex case and didn’t want to go with the cheapest.
@whowhatyeah yes! They charged me 10k USD because I was a revision and my friend who was just a first time rhinoplasty requested info before me and they told her it costs 7k. However, I’ve heard many different prices floating around because of different currencies and it might be because you have to send pictures(consultation) to get a cost so they may base it off of your nose and how much work they expect it to be? Who knows!
They quoted you 20k with Dilber?! That’s insane and ridiculous. I would not even bother with him lol. There are plenty of amazing surgeons charging way less
Yeah honestly I’ve been hearing many different prices but it depends on the location. It was still wayyyyyy less expensive than the doctors here in the US.
