Will the diseased trees ever fully grow back or is the damage done? Can a fertilizer be used to bring the tree back to life? Man I’d love a solution to this problem?
Using the fungicide option can come back to haunt you. There is a limit to how big of a tree that can be properly treated. So instead of having a small dead tree, you end up with a big dead tree..... aka, instead of having a small tree that costs a few hundred to remove, you have a big tree that can cost a few thousand to remove.
Just came through a polar vortex horrible winter of very intense cold, and snows. My 2 year old 1 foot high spruce has the look of death now...it looks like this, but it is from winter instead of fungus? How can I save my little tree? It served winter pasts with nice heathy green emergence in May. This time, and it’s all brown, or very light green needles.

Never knew this about these trees. If I did I wouldn't have even bothered wasting my time planting this garbage. Now wasting my time doing research trying to figure out wtf is going on. What a fkn waste of life.
Yes but it's a waste. The fungus attacks the new needles which emerge in spring. You can treat the fungus but you'd need to repeat over again to save new growth. Usually this fungus implies your conditions are too moist and the tree is damp. Sun and wind help hence prune and thin clumps of trees. Plant different varieties Norway vs Colorado blue

But what if we don’t know what copper treatment means? What can I buy? Can I get something online or can I go to a nursery? I have two weeping pine trees that have needle cast, and I need to get it under control.
