Rhode Island's Record Flood 

it's absolutely horrible. tons of my friends have been evacuated from their houses. i'm at school in mass thankfully, but it's definitely not looking good...

this is sooooo scary, i live in RI. my uncle just experienced flooding, it was around 10+ inches. and i heard this is just the beginning to the worst of weather.I'm praying that me and my family will be alright.

I have people in Rhode Island. Hope they're fine. Lived there for ten years. My first memories were there .

Heartbreaking.

I remember this very vividly, I had 6 inches of water in my basement. We had to tear up all the hardwoods. I feel bad for the people who lived near rivers, they got the worst.

Ive lived in rhode island all my life and this flood was the worst ever as of today this wariwick mall is still closed and itz been lik 2 months Rhode island is history

@2010abaddon actually ri has been voted one of the top 10 states in the us because of it's safety. The state may not have any mountains or disney land, but i love it theres beaches waterfires in the summer i think if you went to my state youd love it. get your facts striat kid

lol, my house was on top of a slopy hill type of street, :D no flooding for me. sucked for the old guy at the bottom though. loool

This is a small flood....the only difference is back in the day when there were large plugs they were no real time.. media coverage.. my family has lived on the banks of the Blackstone for a mare and insignificant 75 years... Personally I've been here 45 years.. but yeah there have been a lot worse just in my family's lifetime.. personally I've seen at least two floods worse than this a lot worse!!!

can i just say to all the people talking shit about Rhode Island don't. only Rhode Islanders are allowed to talk shit about our state cuz we know how bad it is.

Invicta62@Armanition............Are you serious? Best weather? The weather in RI is the worst in the nation including Seattle. The roads aren't any better, especially after all this rain. The pot holes are a foot deep. Last May we had 1 sunny day the whole month!! Out of 365 days I bet we get 290 cloudy or rainy days. It's terrible here! The only reason I'm here is because my wife and kids don't want to leave. I'm being held captive. I HATE RI...................
