Rhode Island State Police troopers describe their jobs as a way of life. From the RISP training academy, to community outreach, special units such as cyber-crime , canine and swat teams -- the modern State Trooper’s job has kept up with the tools and technology of 21st century crime-fighting. The RISP is held in high regard in part because they hold each other to a very high standard, with integrity, pride, and the mission to make a difference.
