This video reminds me of my experience growing up as a child in a village in Africa. It reminds me of our society. Peacefulness at the surface but with internal turmoils and the struggle of my grandparents day to day survival. Life goes on.

I must confess black rule didn't bring any meaningful development and change in Bulawayo but de industrialization ,extreme poverty .The pavements and streets clogged with hopeless traders selling their wares for a living..Its sad .

Bulawayo was the industrial hub of the country. It had many factories and businesses. Sadly, most of those have either left the city or have shut down which has resulted in severe economic decline for the city and the region.

@@sjx3516 lol, houses built with no electricity and water because the government has failed to deliver. Driving on potholed roads and hospitals without paracetamol. How many black can afford the holidays you write about? Not necessarily...my father was treasurer in the Centre Party. Di Mitchell sought talks with the freedom fighters. And step progress to universal vote. And then a SAM hit a viscount. Attitude hardened .. polarisation. Mutual understanding had no further chances. An external settlement by a party in Britain now in great difficulty itself. I wonder what would have been..if that critical space before the Viscount had been kept and allowed. I am a Christian and so all will I believe come in time to good.

No for example Australia was rally racist at one point but Australia lived on mainly because they got the time they needed to end their racism and the Rhodesians didn’t get enough time for the racism to end
