Hi Stephen, I remember them days but more in the 80s with me, Woolworths was where b and m stood, now that's called Hoxa The cafe I remember was called shepherd's That was a fantastic cafe.
Rhyl used to be a lovely place to visit going back 50 years ago. Looking at your video it looks a rundown drab place. Shame how it’s gone. Anyway good luck to you. Hope you enjoyed your stay but not for me I will never return
Helllo Peter, I think the heyday of the seaside as gone, like most other seaside towns things are not as they use to be. I've been going to Rhyl since i was a child and years ago there Was lots more to do but I still love it there.
Yeah thank you for the reply I feel the same about Blackpool but I don’t visit There anymore that has gone the same way I go to Skegness now, although that’s starting to turn for the worse 👍
@petemullen842 that's a place I've never been to Skegness but maybe one day. Blackpool heyday has gone too, the fronts still about the same but down the back streets its awful.
