This level absolutely blew me away. The music, the mechanics, the message...it's just all so good! Really impressive that you perfected this song, too. This song absolutely destroyed me.
100% agreed, they hit it out of the park with this one! And thank you, admittedly it took almost a full hour of tries - it was rough at first here too lol.
This game is so impressive in how it manages to completely surpass my expectations multiple times in a row. At first I was skeptical how a one-button rhythm game could be interesting, then it proved me wrong with its music theory gimmicks and beautifully crafted levels. I thought it couldn't get better, then 2-X proved me wrong. I thought it couldn't get any better again, then the Muse Dash levels proved me wrong. And again, I thought that was the peak, there's no way they could improve upon what was already there. Then 5-X proved me wrong. I really think this is the best state the game could possibly be in. And I can't wait for 7th Beat Games to prove me wrong yet again.
i fucking adore RD - in my eyes, it's a true rhythm game, where you actually acquire a sense of rhythm just from counting beats. here's to more acts to come !
@@Portal2Fan1234unfortunately? That is 1-2 more acts to this amazing game. And not only that but the communty also makes alot of great levels, meaning unlimited content basicly. Though I see that you want more to the main game as the story is very interesting and appealing. But the ones that always strives for more is never satisfied.
@@enderslice8378 I actually only did the vocals for this song, there is another guy that is the canonical voice of Lucky. I would have loved to do both but ah well, such is life hahaha
I'm not crying over a rhythm game. I'm not crying over a rhythm game. I'M NOT CRYING OVER A FUCKING RHYTHM GAME Narrator's Voice: Vex is definitely crying over a rhythm game
Such an outstanding level... I was so entranced by the visual I got caught off guard a few times; huge congrats for perfecting the level! Honestly a toughie and might take some time to get certain beats down. I'm surprised for the section with the virus that when it plays the "tab error"(?) sound effect several times, its different depending on what kind of device you're on (I play on Mac, which sounds different than Windows) which is such a neat detail.
playing this was one of the best experiences i've ever had on any rhythm game... if not the best the story, music, new mechanics, it's all perfect, and i loved every single bit of it
Man, 1:30 hits so really hard. This Level is very inspiring and yet... I do regret so much that I didn't pursue my dreams when I was at young age. I wish I could turn back time... Anyway, thank you for making this perfect play. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Subscribed! ♥
@@ampixxyhe meant that it's probably hard since he made a level with window movement. making that is probably hard idk never actually made a level but he just means that it's there, probably hard to do
@@ThisAnxiousEditor he said that window size changing was in the editor, i was correcting him by saying that it wasn't (because it isn't, i checked), but window movement is.
what in the A N I M E O P E N I N G is this ITS SO COOL I LOVE IT IDK HOW LONG AGO IVE BEENTHIS IMPRESSED EVER SINCE 2-X the new mechanics, the song with the lyrics, THE S T O R Y this game is the G O A T (ALL CAPS, SPACE BETWEEN EVERY LETTER)
When perfecting this level I literally sat for 1,5 hours trying over and over and I didnt even notice it had been that long since I was having so much fun! Finally getting it was so damn rewarding too! Now im only missing 5-2 night, that one just doesnt click for me
5-2 night was the one I struggled on too, ended up getting it but it never felt right. I think it just comes down to so many of the notes being off-beat, it isn't an intuitive stage (and I'd go so far as to say it isn't a good one either).
@@Rynth I sat down and tried over and over just now and finally beat 5-2 night after over an hour! The music is so good and the sound effects and visuals are so snappy and satisfying, especially the freeze beats sound effect. There was just something about when I got the hits right that just felt so great. Yesterday I played 5-2 night while super tired from from perfecting this stage so I probably needed the break for it to click lol
I cried so much playing Rhythm Doctor, I loved the story line, the funny character interaction 4th wall break, the amazing graphic design. and thank you for getting me through tough times. i haven't s+ cleared all stages yet, slowly but surely
@@cleoknight4788I wouldn't say so. Don't get me wrong, Rhythm Doctor is an amazing game with tons of cool ideas, but something like what Rhythm Doctor does can't really be done in most rhythm games. Gimmicks are tailored for a specific thing, not something you can slap onto anything
oh my god all of it is so cool and the fucking beginning art especially like my guy is so scaredx oif what he loses and fears that hes going to lose what and hates the fact that action cant be taken further to begin with. hes so scared that hell lose all this work that hes p[ut intop his career, esp being top of his team and always found comfort. then eventually finding comfort in being someone else, teaching other people and witnessing somethinjg that is the beauty of teaching and how to slowly improve. every score being a fruit falling from a tree of doubt, growth from a blossom. woops im a nerd
here a bit late, but this stage was pretty tough, well done perfecting it! You'll see a lot of people saying stuff like "anyone can do that" or, "but that stage's easy", but i know a lot of people who couldn't get anywhere close to something like this, if anybody drops those condescending remarks on ya, remember that a good half of the population couldn't do it.
It took me 5 tries to perfect this boss while act 3 boss took me like 2 hours to perfect it lol. Anyways this level blew me away and I really liked the song and visuals!
