yo this video is blowing up a little bit now so i just want to mention that this is actually my second channel where i just post random things, my main channel is linked in the description (i dont make anything relating to rhythm heaven there but i think you should still check it out!!) ALSO i do plan to make more of these soon!! i started work on a banana man custom remix but it didn't turn out too well, but do be on the lookout for more because i do plan to make them!!
@@godsclown4419 i edited this, but there is a project called rhythm heaven mania where you can make custom songs and play them, definitely worth checking out
How did you do the visuals for this? I've made a few remixes in the remix editor before but never got around to doing visuals because it just seems so daunting
@@BagelBagelBagelBa why, why would a def person play a rhythm game, like, I get there are visual cues, but like, Rhythm heaven literally has bits where it zooooms out, or covers your view, rhythm games were NOT made with def people in mind
Really good stuff all around, for a first attempt this is some really solid stuff. The only thing I could criticise is for the possibility of some more varied patterns, but that could be easily reiterated on. Either way keep up the good work, and have a nice day.
YEEESSSS. This was such a good custom game! I already like the song, but the satisfying offbeat rhythm? The special effects? The slowed-down and rapid-fire parts? The way it uses interesting and challenging patterns without a single kick or combo? Amazing. I love it. This is super good, especially for a first custom game. And most people’s first custom remixes/games are at least a little out of sync, but this one is pretty much perfectly synced. You did a really good job.
The Comments agree that... It was a great first attempt! You got some awesome off-beats! Those transitions and both slow and fast parts made you look like the Ruler of Everything *SUPERB* You've got a medal!
I just realized you should of made the boulders light bulbs whenever the lights went off, I know that's not what they indicate but I think that would've been cool, Awesome Remix though either way
This is a really great custom game whether or not it’s your first. Everything was perfectly with the music, which is what matters most. The editing is the most obviously quality thing, the effects are wonderful. Karate man is a really versatile game, and some of the other cues could definitely been used more, but simplicity is sometimes even better than complexity. Overall, it’s just superb. If you didn’t tell me it was your first, I wouldn’t have guessed that it was.
ik you said this isn't good, but this is actually amazing. I love both Tally Hall and Rythm Heaven Custom yt videos, and I think this hits all the spiders perfectly. It's still pertaining to Tally Hall AND Rhythm Heaven, It's worth listening to, and you can tell effort got put into this.
really well done if i'm honest. kind of sad the lamp combo isn't there but tbh you had me hooked and i can't really tell where you could fit it anyways so 10/10 from me
I dont know much about rhythm heaven but this looks really good to my untrained eye and ear! Loving the positive support from the comments, you really did a great job!
i LOVE how you did the black and rainbow parts, it really added to the song. I don’t know if it does something like that in the game, but man, it was cool.
Game description: Karate joe dojo is having light problems, play attention to the audio, AND visuals, look out for fakes out! Superb result Sensei comments: You took the speed well, The ghost vases didn't tricked you, You even was able to slow your pace down at the end! SUPERB! End card: STAY OUT ELECTRIC NINJA! WE PAYED OUR BILLS!
This is an extremely good edit (or feat of coding if that’s what’s going on here-)!! My only feedback is that there are some moments where combos would fit beautifully, especially in the chorus. It can add emphasis, especially if you’re utilizing them *only* for the chorus. The top comment here is also mentioning the suggestion of varied rhythms, and I am with them on that. I love the rhythm at the beginning and end, it gives a buildup and wind down that feels suitable for RH’s style, however if the beginning pattern is the same one used throughout, it can loose its touch and even realistically make a player bored! You don’t have to create a whole new pattern for each verse, in fact mapping similarly is highly suggested! Just adding a little twist each time can give a map a lot of energy, and even add a little bit of added difficulty if you do it right! Overall, for a first custom rhythm game map, this was honestly impressive! Feel free to experiment, fuck around, and have fun! Have a nice day!
i love this but with how quiet the vocals are compared to the in game sounds (most notably how loud "hit three!" is) i really think this would have worked better with just the instrumenals.
