I could imagine in this hypothetical sequel of blue bear, instead of a break up, he'd probably lost someone. but since it is in color, this would be the real deal. either happening real time or as a flashback. let's say it's a flashback. then the girl bear would be with blue bear. but if it's real time. it could be something goofy like a broken toy or something cuz tbh, i don't think they would be that realistic when it comes to grieving like a family member, friend, or even blue bear's girlfriend being the one dead. So I guess like blue bear's favorite plant or favorite toy broke and his girlfriend is there to comfort him. Or who knows, he might actually be going through an actual break up. or something might of happened unrelated to his girlfriend. like his favorite show got canceled or something.
