Thanks for the knowledge coach. I should have known I wasn’t building effectively, without a rhythm. Looks and feels extremely foundational. Gonna include this in a warm up session to get the body woken up. PS-Coach, that liver shot was as fast as the sound of speed! Absolutely amazing.
This is what I needed, no lie I’ve been boxing for a little over a year now and I’m still trying to control my breathing in the ring as well as ramping up my stamina! This video taught me essential techniques that’ll take with me in the gym now thank you 🙏🏽
Dope videos. Idk how I’ve never seen your videos before. I’m glad you mentioned the breathing because that is often overlooked and very important. When I first started boxing in 04, I would actually hold my breath when throwing power shots and then that throws EVERYTHING off. Through shadow boxing I LEARNED the breathing rhythms necessary to perform the different movements. Keep doing what you’re doing homie. 💪🏽🥊🙏🏽
Great video coach!!!! Definitely subscribing I love the pendulum rhythm I like to start with a pendulum movement then when I see my opponent get tired then I plant more and use basic body movement
Hey thanks man, yes definitely good for Muay Thai fighters and I have trained many. If you can incorporate the 2nd rhythm (i.e. pendulum) into your game, you'll have a big advantage
@@coachdaronboxing anytime bro I'm into African/black history so I do research on different fighting art forms that's on the African continent or might have came during slavery in the African diaspora
what if you never had any rhythm of any type? Like is there a video on how to get rhythm first and then how to maintain it? Like I have no understanding of what rhythm is in music, I'm not musically literate, and I'm no musician so you can imagine how lost confused I am in trying to figure out what rhythm is in boxing and other stuff
Come on bro his explanation was very good and simple. The pendulum is the hardest as it takes more fitness. If u r not that left you move slightly left to right by moving the upper body. Many Pacquiao uses both rythums separately.
@@coachdaronboxing that's the issue in Trinidad we have Kung fu schools who say they do boxing aswell..but not actual full boxing gym.. sadly..but I don't know if port of Spain or arima side have. I hardly go up there..but uk I have to sub to you..have to support a positive trini..I'm trying to teach myself at home..and using your vids now..
