PEACE ❤️😎✌️
he totally disrespected that Reuben Wilson album and didn't even listen to the Willie Hutch. I have both and they're each full of loads of shit for sampling.
He gave respect to these two tracks. Mentioned that lots of things can be done with them at the beginning of the video. And again at the end explain that he went with the japenese for the originality. Stop hating Bro
I don't make a habit of posting negatively on youtube videos and I never said the end result was bad so I don't need to be checked on my comments as if I'm just hating. I love good music. and if you knew those records you'd know he missed some amazing potential samples that haven't been widely used yet. I thought the point of RR was to use the records you picked. he picked them and ignored them. anyone can throw a load of 808 hihats and some kicks over anything. what he did was fine in the end. I'm just saying he ignored some great possibilities by not properly giving the songs a listen. he just skimmed over them. he didn't seem to know the artists. if only fawning posts are allowed then what's the point of having a place for comments?
The Jackie brown soundtrack hasn't been used widely? I do know those records and if you wanna be original I guess the japenese track was the best pick. He did listen to all of them. I guess you would know that they edit the video right? As I said just read the subtitles if you don't know French he clearly said the two other albums have a lot of potential. Anyway you didn't say that it was bad that's true but you didn't say that it was decent either.
you're right the foxy brown/willie hutch has been used a lot. I was referring to the rueben wilson. there's still stuff on the hutch album that hasn't been killed tho. but even if it has been used, you can still be original by how you use it (jay-z using billy squire in 99 problems or nas using apache in made you look are examples... both records were original uses of what otherwise are played out samples). my point was he ignored great records. was the end result all that original? it was ok in my opinion. I'm not a fan of trap hihats so maybe I am not the one to say. I was commenting on what he overlooked. I didn't need to say it was good. enough other people posted how much they loved the end result. I was simply saying he overlooked better samples. man the internet sux. you aren't allowed to say anything different than the group-speak? dude, I wasn't hating so much as I was expressing my appreciation for those other records which I own and love. sorry if I did it in a way that bothered you. can we move on?
