comment465 put it this way, if your wearing that jersey for cool points you should have bought a Juventus Jersey. In UK this ain't gonna pass for cool unless your a gordie and its match day.
sky-high Either everyone is an audio major or an absolute hater. That and their tastes are always so limited. Anti boom bap. Anti trap. Anti everything but one sound.
Im not gonna lie these guys looked like complete trap heads that dont know how to flip a record but they made a pretty tight beat. Its all about outcome really
I've seen enough rhythm roulette episodes to know how a soul sample is flipped. And the idea behind the blindfolding is to get producers to leave their comfort zone i would say (which is an interesting premise), but that doesn't happen this way. So they would have to get more creative with other records. Would be really interesting imo.
Thijs Jacobs you right. They should go to some other genre's like pop, maybe funk and/or rock. I got this pop record at home from this group called Manhattan Transit and they have some str8 gems on that record. Led Zepplen too. Don't sleep on those other genres.
Bruh I'm hearing some amazing stuff about that serato sample straight and to the point doing all the work for you allowing you to get your idea out that dope
Nobody seems to know how to operate a turntable anymore. But at least they got it done on the first beat and we didn't have to watch two dudes getting stoned.
@J. Carson no hate just a objective opinion, they may put in work kudos to them, but i still dont digg their work, taste vary so its still an opinion...comparable with primo or 9th? No...no hate or disrespect just my 2 cents as a failing producer myself
You still gotta know how to chop using serato, it just it makes it more precise and the way it time stretches and pitches takes sampling to a whole other level especially if you wanna chop acapellas that time stretch is perfect
Dear folks @ Mass Appeal, Do you think it woul be possible to make an instruction video about turntables. And then especially about the use of the Tonearm. Thank you very much, the producer on rhythm roulette will be for ever greatful. :-P
y'all need to do a rhythm roulette with Nikobeats, he had a sick project with an artist named Huey Briss, titled "Black Wax" and his production style is dope as fuck!
haha im dead when they mentioned how they watch basketball highlights... i was like how lebron throwing the chalk and they were just joking around about black panther 2
So Mike N Keys are the Futuristiks after a name change are you kidding me... all this time I thought they were new up and coming producers the Futuristiks were my favorite a few years ago.
Damn, I used to the love the name The Futuristicks. I knew some LA heat was coming when I saw it on liner notes. Guess I have to get used to "Mike and Keys".
I mean, they know Just Blaze did the illest Rick James Superfreak sample flip of all time, right? Ski Beats didn't even want to touch that Rick James album he pulled simply because of that.
