Thanks guys i am glad you like it. I am one of the original Rialtos. Recorded in Musimakers Studios W. 57th St. NY, 1961. King Curtis's Band with his great Sax backed up the Group. Doug R.
Douglass be proud. They don't make them better than this great song plus a rolling falsetto. Grew up in Brooklyn and Queens during the day and thought I heard them all until I found this one. I used to shop Slim's Time Square Record Shop and I don't think he even had it. I sang with 4 other guys just for fun in the day and there's no better feeling than singing these songs. Thank God for You Tube or these sounds would be gone. Love this song, play it all the time.😎 Doo Wopp Forever!!!
My Dad Louis Ruiz sang lead on this song. I had seen on line where He is listed as Hector. That is incorrect. My dad wrote the the 2 songs. I just played him the songs and was over the moon. Now, I am trying a copy of the 45. Blessings to all and stay safe.
Ronnie you too :) Been enjoying this oh since I was about 3-5 yrs old I rem songs like this on the am radio wafting through summer night air- it must've been a great time for lovers to hear these beautiful voices!

PJ, My wife of 50 yrs. brought to my attention the recording was actually in 1964. So I stand corrected. Right after we assisted Eddie Beller producer of Tribute Records and backed up The Knockouts "Darling Lorraine" on a new album (The Kockouts Go Ape" they were recording. Dougie DooWop- "Somewhere In Time"

88.9 WJMJ plays oldies and done Doo Wop on Saturday nights Rock and Roll Revival Show with Mark Andrews. Find it on the internet or internet radio app. I don't think You'll be disappointed. 1320 WATR does a show 6-10 Sunday night. Jay Crawford and the Music Museum. He plays a good variety as well. God Bless!
Man that ending is completely devastating. I'm having trouble thinking of a song that ends like this. The flamingos I only have eyes is right with this one as I think of it. geeze.
I never heard this before... it is awesome. Don't see how I missed this. I'm from Philly, we had the ""Geator with the heater" Jerry Blavit I( I probably spelled the last name wrong, sorry) I listened to him all the time.
