Every six hours, 400 million cubic metres of water at speeds of up to 20 knots (40 kilometres per hour) rush through the 150-metre wide and 3-kilometre long sound connecting the Saltenfjord and the Skjerstadfjord.
The powerful whirlpools can be up to 10 metres in diameters and 5 metres deep

Depth is far greater than 3 meters..

It does not say anywhere that it is only 3 meters deep, however, it has been misspelled on "kilometers" and "sound (strait)", which unfortunately was not discovered before it was too late, and the video can not be edited on site. The depth is 31 meters.

Henrik Locations like these are too powerful to harness. But tidal power is a up and comming technology. There is probably an area nearby this where tidal turbines would work. They need to keep everything anchored to bottom.
