Nobody will read this this 5 months after video released, but this way of wiring you can often meet on Gibson guitars for example. Instead of shorting pickup output to the ground when rolling off the volume (like on jazz bass) it shorts it's own output to the ground (like on Gibson guitars). IDK why Gibson uses this scheme on their guitars, forums tells that it have something to do with high freq output of your instrument, but anyway. That's why you need to have a separate switch in order to be able to solo your pickups with this schematics. This scheme is rare guest on basses but nonetheless.
Personally a huge fan of the rickenbacker sound that this thing is going for but I think I'll skip this one. I already have a TRBX which does great fender style tones so I'd like to complement it with a bass with basically the exact opposite pickup mounting positions. I'll probably just mod a stingray or ATK instead of getting this thing.
It's so sexy how when you're slappin' and do the little triplet runs at the end of the phrase, the corner of your mouth twitches ever so slightly... Pbass girl pointed this out to me...
Dude, that's the worst programmed drum beat I've ever heard, its stepping all over the bass......chill with the bass drum and cymbal hits for Christ's sake.
The beats in this video were predone ones: I normally do my own but had time constraints so I was cutting corners on time...Yeah, ithey do sound like garbage can lids being hurled at each other now that you mention it lol
