Our visit today to Ribble Steam Railway for their half term running. Courageous and Progress pushing and pulling over the Marina Bridge. Old barriers which make a racket makes it a good place to visit.
Yeah, these barriers are QUITE old. They're at least 40 years old, no question. The ones on Maritime Way crossing are in SERIOUS need of replacement ASAP. The barriers are manufactured by Tulley. The ones on Navigation Way No.1 are actually in fairly good condition for their age, so they're just fine. I say they replace the barriers at Maritime Way, and retrofit them at Lockside Road LC.
