A tight ribcage can lead to lots of issues and imbalances in the body. Our ribs steer the direction of the spine, so rib mobility is important for our spine health. A restricted ribcage can even cause headaches and neck and shoulder pain and cause shallow breathing.
This movement will be especially helpful if you feel like your mid-back is stiff or extra tight.
