Ricardo Cobo on Luthier India 

We have an 8P. I find the intonation really tight on this instrument. After listening to Ricardo perform and speak, I really want an Alhambra Luthier India. Bravo

i got the abeto version, altho second hand, its my best purchase ever. This guitar is amazingly beautiful.

When I was looking around for a spanish guitar, there's not a lot of major guitar stores in the USA that you can audition a spanish guitar at this level of quality -- you'll have to go to a boutique retailer and pay in the high thousands. Most sold by major retailers are student models also in the thousands dollar range that sounds spanish but I was looking for something really old sounding spanish like what Ricardo was saying here. Then I saw a couple of youtube videos of student concerts and one of them was using an INDIA Alhambra. Since there are no Alhambra retailers in my area, I took a leap and bought the INDIA model through an internet seller and was very happy I did. Ricardo is playing number 884 -- I own number 604 both are signed by Mengual & Margarit.

Wow, this is an amazing guy. How beautiful was his speech, especially towards the end. Should have ended it at the point he stopped talking about the beauty of music. Amazing guitar as well, I myself have owned an Alhambra cedar 5p and now own a spruce 7p. Absolutely wonderful instruments.

Beautiful playing! I am looking now for a new guitar and presently own and Alhambra. I like the sound of this guitar very much. Perhaps I am hooked to the Alhambra sound already. By the way, what is the name of that first piece that he is playing?
