Just replied to you on your post of 2 days ago. Reposting here: Hi Manuel. CAPM is a great start. I suggest that you pursue it. I have a course on the PMBOK 6th Ed that may be helpfull. Other providers also have good options.

Great video as always by the legendary Ricardo Vargas. I obtained my PMP in July 2021, but avoided reading PMBOK 7th Edition when it came out. My thoughts after reading the 7th edition straight after my exam (passed with 3 ATs!) are the same as Ricardo: when you read 7th edition, you need to understand the logic and rationale behind it before moving on. Instill that mindset, then you'll benefit by gaining a new skill. Studying for the exam shouldn't be a cram memory test, but instead a learning experience.
I truly enjoyed watching this, not only was it informative and simplified but it kept my attention and brought everything together. Truly grateful for this resource and definitely signed up for your site.

Thanks for giving the essence of underlying principles of PMBOK 7th and also explaining how the 7th edition is NOT replacing or contradicting previous standards/principles. Nowadays the lack of sustainble environments is passing the bill through pandemias and climate changes, speeding up the fact that we are in the tiny blue dot on the universe (Carl Sagan). This home is not only for us, it is for the generations to come, we are genetic interanauts delivering our legacy to our children, and in order to offset the results from past poor management is a must to adopt the collective intelligence...where creativity and innovations are the no constraint resource for tackling those negative effects and learn from our mistakes. I just started to review this. I found one study guide that organized the content via the domains- people, process, business environment. I am so confused - I would like to study using the format of your video -which follows the format of the book. Will that work??
Hi Brenda. I did the explanation in the best way I could to make people aware of the changes and the main aspects of the PMBOK 7th. People received the video in a very positive way. I do not know other contents but I believe you should use all of the. Remember that I did not create the video for the PMP exam. I created it to help people to become better PMs.

dude i am only like 19 minutes in, this dude KNOWS what he is teaching i know nothing about this thing btw, but i understood nothing from other people's videos. the ability to teach someone who knows nothing about this, is insane ❤ his definitions are so easy to understand, even the obvious things have a layer of depth so you know why it's there. he is not speed running the book, he is teaching well. it's as if he KNOWS exactly what i want to know about at any point. he is teaching from experience. AND he is also giving solid advices that can be applied to personal life

Outstanding explanation of the PMBOK 7th edition! I've been training students and staff at my university on these concepts as well. And you're absolutely right about the purpose of this video. QUESTION: I don't have PMP but in my experience of managing projects I find that "Ownership" is important to be established who will take over as a owner of new process to maintain/sustain, support and improve otherwise it will either fail as broken process or completely die! ....what do you think on this topic of Ownership? Is this talked about in the 6th edition?
Hi Darius. Thanks for your note. First, not being a PMP does not reduce your credibility and your opinion, ok? :) PMP is only a credential. I truly agree with you. Ownership is critical if you want to succeed. There is a great book called the Founders Mentality (Zook and Allen) that covers exactly this. If you take a look on the principles you will see the concept of ownership present in the stewardshio, leadership, complexity and team principles easily. Ricardo.
