Rice is very good for animals on cold or chilly days. For monkeys just boil the rice in grape or orange juice, no need to chop up veggies. They will gobble it down. If it smells like fruit they will not leave 1 speck on the ground. For the dogs you have that down pat, boil rice in chicken broth or any other meat juice. Dogs go by smell so if it smells good they will eat it. The reason to boil the rice in fruit for monkeys and meat flavor for dogs is so the rice sucks up the flavored water and it is only 1 step for you to do. Fill pot up with flavored water and boil rice DONE! What a wonderful thing you are doing.

I think I used to be a monkey in my past life, because I love rice and fruits more than any other food. I love eating rice and cooked or salted vegetables together. (In Korea, there is a traditional salted vegetable side dish called kimchi. I'm eating kimchi and beans and rice now.) And I'm so, so, so happy when I eat sweet fruits for dessert. And like these monkeys, I love biscuits, carrots and tomatoes. Eating while watching these monkeys eat makes me feel good.
