You’re a life saver with these cooker recipe Chef!~ I’m busy with work & usually have to order out but now I have easy tastyy recipes to meal prep several days at a time thanks to you ❤ The taste of home cooked meal is just unbeatable
@@lemonhaze1506 I totally agree! And I have busy life style too, and not willing to buy meals very often😅 I'm glad that I can contribute the people who's like me😄
It still baffles me that there are still people who don't think a rice cooker is worth the investment, but won't bat an eye when it comes to buying a toaster. A toaster can ONLY be used on slices of bread of a certain size, and can ONLY be used on two of them at a time. You might as well use a pan to toast those two pieces of bread yourself. A rice cooker is way more versatile since it's essentially a cooking pot and is easy to clean once you're done.
to be honest, a good rice cooker typically cost more than a 2-bread toaster 😂 but what you said is true. Chefslabo-san seems to use an intelligent rice cooker, which saves a lot of time and work, too, but slightly costlier than the most basic rice cooker.
Thank you so much for these recipes! I am in school and working so I have no time to cook properly. These meals are also very cheap which is an added plus. I am forever grateful. Please continue to make rice cooker recipes! ♥
I never regret subscribing to this channel. So useful and so on point videos! Btw your chawan looks nice (i'm a great fan of everything connected to tea ceremonies)
Thanks for sharing your recipe. You are very generous with interesting Japanese cooking tips. Do you know - the precious collagen of a salmon is mostly its skin 💛 Ever since I've learned about this, I enjoy a nice slab of baked wild caught king salmon every night. It's one of my best skincare essentials :)
Chef Labo your rice cooker recipes are amazing 😋 Thanks for sharing 🤗 My 4 Quart rice cooker small in size still doable for the recipes ~ just cut portions in half ?!?! Take care
Hi Barbara!! Maybe try with half recipe for the first time, and see how much space you can still get. And increase the amount from next time accordingly 👀 Thanks for the comment as always Barbara 😄 it will help other viewers who has same question 👍
Chef Labo, I can't thank you enough for making these rice cooker recipes! It has changed my life 😄 now I can prepare these delicious meals in the comfort of my own home. May I ask why the salmon skin was removed? Because I always eat the salmon skin together with the meat ありがとうございます!
If you directly microwave raw salmon, it probably will smell a bit. If you meant that microwaving this meal prep, I didn’t feel any smell from them😃 By the way, I used thawed frozen salmon, but there was no bad smells at all👍
I’m sorry I didn’t try with other cooking pot 😅, so I cannot guarantee. But using a pot like how you normally cook rice will probably work fine (I suppose) 👀
If you finish everything and close the lid while everything was hot, there’ll be steam and water inside of your container. And water grows bacterias and making the food’s shelf life shorter👀 But You can assemble everything (while hot) and chill in a fridge WITHOUT LID. And place a lid once it’s chilled. This way has no problem. Just don’t put them next or under of raw meats or seafoods. But you know what? Usually it’s not a super big deal. Most people have common sense, and have least knowledge about food safety. However depending on the situation or the ingredients, sometimes small things make big troubles.. So I just tried to keep you (and myself) away from troubles😌
@@CHEFSLABO thanks for the info! I haven't had the guts to try out these prep meals due to food safety and rice bacteria. I'll follow your steps and give it a try
