Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today we are in the middle of the rice fields of the La Fagiana company, near Caorle, to film the operations of the 2023 vintage Carnaroli rice harvest. At work we find their John Deere S770i combine harvester.
The John Deere S770i is equipped with a 9000cc twin-turbo six-cylinder in-line diesel engine, capable of delivering 455 hp of power, discharged to the ground thanks to the two large front tracks which allow a 30% greater support surface. Excellent for terrain where it is easy to sink\leave deep ruts with the wheels.
The fuel tank can hold between 750 and 950 liters depending on the configuration, while the grain hopper has a capacity of 10,600 litres. The machine is capable of discharging 120 L\s.
It was produced in Germany in the Zweibrücken factory from 2018 to 2020.
In this video the thresher is equipped with a 725D header which has:
- a cutting width of 7.60m
- 1016 mm conveyor belt with rigid blade
- conveyor speed: 0 - 223 m/min
- double blade drive with 1960 cuts/min (optional)
The combination of the HydraFloat header height sensing with the suspension system and double pass blades allows for faster harvesting characterized by lower ground pressure and regular stubble height.
A larger 460 mm top conveyor auger and a center section sealing kit are available for harvesting rapeseed. Side blades for rapeseed can also be fitted.
