That you can’t pick against the Chiefs twice since you were wrong about Chiefs-Ravens is a logical fallacy. The 49ers are not the Ravens. You have to look at that matchup independently, and the Niners match up very well against the Chiefs. But hey I get it, entertainment.

I would prefer the Niners win since, if my team isn't in the Superbowl, I would prefer to spread things around. Niners have come so close in the last few years and have nothing to show for it so you have to feel some sympathy for them. Why should the Chiefs be so greedy and win three, with the Niners losing to them twice? But the fact that the Chiefs have won two with this core group is why my pick is for them to win it. They're a powerhouse on the doorstep of a dynasty. They're clearly the most consistent team over the last several years. They're something special. That makes it so risky to pick against them. Plus they have less pressure which is a big advantage. If they lose, that's a bummer for their fans, but they can still hang their hat on those other two titles. SF NEEDS to win this. They've been so close with this core but you only get so many chances and this could be the last one. That puts extra pressure on those players and coaches. Winning a title makes all the difference in how you're remembered. That's why the 90s Atlanta Braves are considered a great team and the 90s Buffalo Bills are the butt of jokes. If the Chiefs win, they're a dynasty. If the Niners win they avoid being regarded as one of the all time choke artist teams. That gives a big psychological edge to the Chiefs.
